Snatch! Brilliant freaking movie. Bullet Tooth Tony says this, played by Vinnie Jones. I just watched this movie last week, and it definitely added a little bit to the slight man-crush that I have on Brad Pitt.

    Er, what?

New riddle, for a starting reward of 250 minerals, which may increase depending on how much difficulty is had solving it. Soooo...

You are an explorer, and you have landed on the island of Knights and Knaves. On this island, there exists two separate villages; the village of Knights, and the village of Knaves. Knights always tell the truth, and Knaves always tell lies. Aside from this information, there is no way to tell the two apart.

Having landed on the beach, you walk into a village, unable to determine whether it is the village of Knights, or the village of Knaves. You figure that before you seek lodging, you should determine which you are in. Unfortunately, it is late at night and the village is essentially barren, save for a small boy playing in the street. You walk up to him, and ask him whether or not he is playing in the street, aiming to figure it out easily. The child merely stops and looks at you. Flustered but not too concerned, you ask the child if he is a boy or a girl. Visibly nervous, the child gathers his toys, tells you he isn't allowed to talk to strangers, and leaves. You watch him walk down the street, trying to make some sense out of what just happened. Suddenly, you figure it out, and head off to find a place to stay, confident that you are in the village of...

Are you in the village of Knights, or the village of Knaves?

Because it's a 50/50 shot of figuring it out just by guessing, I'll only accept answers that are accompanied by an EXPLANATION. Answers of just "Knights" or "Knaves", along with answers accompanied by a false explanation, will be deemed incorrect, even if the proper village is guessed.

Village of the Knaves because they always tell lies and they would tell what the Knights would say to you that you don't talk to strangers while the village of the Knights always tells the truth what the Knaves would say

    i think this is right.....

edit: i did not google it!!!

Alright, so that one was too easy. Here's another...

Having slept the night away, you awake on the island and set off to explore a cave, from which the villagers have been claiming no odd noises have been coming out recently (remember, they were liars).

Deep in the cave, you come across a startling discovery- Zerg! (Cool!) Startled, you head to the second village, which you know is the village of Knights. They tell you that the Hydralisks are semi-intelligent, and have learned to understand English. However, they cannot speak it, and have only developped a primitive language of their own- they hiss or spit. The villagers have determined that hissing and spitting respectively mean "Yes" or "No", but they have been unable to determine which is which. They have also named the Hydralisks "Tommy", "Lucas", and "Rory". They explain that, because they have taken to the customs of the island...

    Tommy always tells the truth.
    Lucas always lies.
Rory has taken one too many psi-blades to the forehead, and therefore randomly switches between telling the truth and lying.

They have taken to these names very well, and kill any person who asks them more than three questions without calling them by their proper names. Unfortunately, the Zerg are always moving about their cavern, so it's generally impossible to tell which is which. You, however, want to talk to the Hydralisks at length, since none of the Knights or Knaves seem to know much about them. You formulate a plan, and head back to the cave. Once arrived, the Hydralisks look at you, you draw a breath, and ask...

500 minerals and a Powerup to whoever solves it first. There are multiple possible solutions. Rules are as follows, feel free to ask me anything about the riddle.

    1) You are allowed three questions, which much be asked to an individual Hydralisk, they cannot be questions posed to the whole group. After the three questions, you should be able to tell which Hydralisk is Tommy, which is Lucas, and which is Rory.

    2) The Hydralisks will respond by Spitting or Hissing, which either mean Yes or No, but you do not know which is which. *Hiss* could mean Yes or No, and *Spit* could mean Yes or No.

    3) No logical conundrums. You aren't allowed to ask Tommy "Will you answer 'no' to this question?" Because if you do, his head will explode. And that's just unhealthy.

    4) Google, and other Search Engines are of course, banned, although I highly doubt this riddle is on the internet anyway. This riddle was told to me by my father when I was 12, and it took me six years to figure it out.

    Good luck everyone!

Um...spitting because its a sign of threat which is no....so they will not attack you but if you say 'hiss' which is like an honorable sign of death and dying as a soldier if you are ready to be killed, however this is a tricky one, it could be a trusty one which could spit at you if what the liars would do or it could be a lying one which hisses at you and he's lying usually he would spit at you or the confused one, which will choose either spitting at you or hissing at you...this is so hard :-\

edit: what's the price for the riddle?

Don't be fooled by the *Hiss* and *Spit* remarks. I could have just as easily chosen to have them to draw a circle or a square in the ground meaning yes or no.

Remember, the most important rule in solving any riddle is not to get caught up in what you think you might know. What you think about hissing and spitting shouldn't have any effect on whether it means "Yes" or "No".

EDIT: The reward for the riddle is starting at 500 minerals and a PowerUp, because it's decently hard. The reward may go higher, if noone solves it within a couple of days.
