A mayor runs a city. Juneau is far up north. Juneau - Au ( take gold ) = June ( 30 days )

Mayor - Or ( take gold ) = May ( 31 days )

Au and Or both mean gold.

 

...i just hate those ones where you take words and mash them together.

 

sorry Hilzagold, I was asked to put up an enigma and basically that is what an enigma is.

I'll put up a normal riddle next time.  Maybe I'll write a new one.  I'll put alot of work into it and make sure it comes out well.

Well that didn't take very long at all, and I think its quite good.  It is quite vague but I think it is specific enough for there to only be one real solution.

 

Yah that does look interesting (and hard ), well to get the ball rolling my first guess is a scapegoat?

Its either Life or Love. I cannot tell which..... Both fit well with that.

 

I would say neither life or love fit. At least not in the general case. I would go into an argue why but my arguement against Kerwyn's first attempt helped him solve the riddle so I will not ge explainig why I disagree. I learned my lesson.
