What English word is nine letters long, and can remain an English word at each step as you remove one letter at a time, right down to a single letter. List the letter you remove each time and the words that result at each step.

you get 5 minerals for each correct answer

    Are you good at math? Complete the last two in this sequence: 1=3, 2=3, 3=5, 4=4, 5=4, 6=3, 7=5, 8=5, 9=4, 10=3, 11=?, 12=?

A farmer was going to town with a fox, a goose and a sack of corn. When he came to a stream, he had to cross in a tiny boat, and could only take across one thing at a time. However, if he left the fox alone with the goose, the fox would eat the goose, and if he left the goose alone with the corn, the goose would eat the corn. How does he get them all safely over the stream? Answeared

A man had twelve toothpicks in front of him. He took one away. Now he had nine in front of him. How is this possible? Answeard

    Continue the series: o t t f f s s _ _ _ Answeard

    heres some tricky riddles :)

    Rule 1: no googling
Rule 2: no looking on the internet for them

I wouldn't hope so. I pasted his first question into google and found all of his questions in one place. Cheating is so easy to do with internet.

Don't know the first one or the second.

He would take the goose first, then take the fox and take the goose back then take the corn go back empty and finally take the goose across again.

The remaining (11) toothpicks were arranged like NINE.

    C,C, I,I?

Theres a donate link in the shop drop down menu if i got them right ^ ^

Here's my contribution to puzzle corner

    Socks in Draws
In my dressing table, I have three draws, which contain my socks.
However, my socks are all separate and loose and mixed up in the draws.

My top draw has: 1 red socks, 3 blue socks, 4 white socks
My middle draw has: 4 red sock, 1 blue sock, 3 white socks
My bottom draw has: 3 red socks, 4 blue socks, 1 white sock

When I wake up and get dressed, I want a matching pair of socks, and I don't care about the colour. But it's a dark morning and I can't see what I'm picking.

    So I can either:

    (a) Choose one draw and select two socks from it at random.
    (b) Choose two draws and select one sock from each at random.
    (c) Empty all three draws into a pile on my floor, and choose two socks from the pile at random.
    (d) Choose two draws and empty them both into a pile on my floor, and select two socks from the pile at random
    (e) Choose two draws and empty them both into a pile on my floor, and select one sock from the pile at random, and one sock randomly from the remaining draw.

Which strategy is more likely to give me a matching pair? I want to see the probabilities of each. :)
