Yeah, in WarCraft1 and WarCraft2 they were genuinely evil because they were currupted by the Burning Legion, but now, even though they are still violent, they're a sentient race.

Wacraft: Orcs and Humans was supposed to be a Warhammer game
Notice how orcs were far more similar to warhammer ones in first two games, I don't know when the whole demon-possesion gig was introduced, but it's obvious that they did it to justify their brutality and change them into something less similar
In effect we have warcraft as it is because Games Workshop withdrew from the deal and Blizz made up new setting and storyline on the go

Oh and they're sentient in WH too I believe, just far more warlike and less inteligent

Yeah, I already knew about the Warhammer deal, and personally I think WarCraft would have been a heck of a lot less popular if they didn't pull out of the deal. I'm a fan of both, but I don't think the fact that it's a Warhammer game would've helped its sales.

4157 i recently stopped and i was never much into the alliance, but most of the people in the keep talk about beating the horde and reclaiming all land just like the horde does, but sometimes even more aggresive

The Horde are just as aggressive towards the Alliance. The Horde also hates all of the other races that keep trying to drive them from Kalimdor, and they also have an extreme vendetta against the Burning Legion for all the corruption in their past.

the alliance is evenly aggresive against the BL the scourge and the horde

oh, and the orcs talk more decent than the humans
