I watched the early 90's series back when I was a kid. And to this day I still wonder how nobody could see the similarities between He-Man and his alter-ego.

Yea, his alter ego was Prince Adam. I still don't see how all of the supporting characters could have missed the fact that they both had a ridiculous hairstyle that made their heads look like the tip of somebody's wang.

1753 Actually, he has some undeveloped psychic based kinetic and suggestive powers as well. It's how he can carry people around at ridiculous speed, or stop a plane by just holding on to one part. He uses the suggestive powers to make Clark Kent appear a lot smaller and weaker than he is(And IIRC, they used this to explain the 'super-ventriloquism from the 60's as well).
