I don't do thor/hellion anymore. What kept happening was the zerg player would go mutas and lings regardless, get 3 or 4 bases, and tech to ultras. I couldn't move out of my base with my thors because then the mutas would fly in and kill all my SCVs. So I ended up having to place about 12 turrets over my two bases just to be able to move out at a reasonable time to stop the ultralisk tech and 4 base macro. 12 turrets meant I had 12 less hellions, and my force got surrounded by about 80 lings and there just weren't enough hellions to stop them, especially with 20 magic box mutas overhead.

This has probably been said, but im bored so, if The T only makes mass Thors and helions. Makes no other unit combination.

Then the direct counter is mass roaches and mass hydras. Make sure to utilize burrow when needed for the roaches.

Edit: the protoss counter is stalkers and immortals. Or HT's if your good with feedback. :/

Feedback no longer works against thors, but yeah stalker/immortal will pwn thor/hellion cost-by-cost easily. Though I'd be a little reluctant on roach/hydra, since if you micro hellions to flank the hydras, the thors will beat the roaches and the hellions will zap the hydras, instead of having roach-kill-hellion and then leaving the hydras to clear the thors...
