Not sure, all he told me is he is an E4. I'm not sure what he does specifically, but last army thing he told me he was doing was doing a refresher class of radio equipment or something. Orders from an E7.

I'm an E-4 SPC 25U COMMO. Rose up through the junior enlisted ranks pretty fast considering I started out as E-nothing (fuzzy). I was considering re classing to 31B (Military Police) but changed my mind as I am looking towards getting reclassed to 35M or 21B.

I have some tips for you... Before you get there... learn the Soldier's Creed, know your three General Orders, and your history. When you get there, do not volunteer for anything. Let the Drill Sergeants see you through your work. Over at Fort Benning, I was relatively unknown to the Drill Sergeants until the last 4.5 weeks of BCT. I was chosen to do some pretty bad *** details such as test out an Active Duty (Non-IET) Only Convoy Live Fire course to pave the way for later BCT battalions to use. We were evaluated by one three star General, three full birds, four light Colonels, three Captains, and a crap load of senior NONCOMs. I also recommend that when you do get to your training site, they will issue you an IET handbook. Read it, Study it, Live it...

Get a head start on your physical training by conditioning yourself now. My PT scores went from 266, 289, 293, and finally 298. I just can't seem to get to 300.

If you do that, you pretty much pave the way for getting distinguished honor grad. I graduated SOTC from BCT and Honor Graduate from AIT. Keep soldiering on but don't let the sh*t baggers get to you and do not become a sh*t bag!
