And its the militaries fault for doing something that YOUR ELECTED official wanted? Its as much as everyones fault than a specific group.

i didnt say its their falt. but your gunna support something that is blindly controled beyond our power? by whatever congress's hidden agenda's are? What im sayin is, in this day and age and how the military is used should have no appeal to anyone and not be supported just because soldiers are thrown into hot spots after vulenteering.
If this was the 1800's and we were fighting Britains Opression... then I might have a different taste in opinion.

Now i am not sure how you use your army and i think we live in different countries so i can only talk about how my/our country's army is being used.

Well first of all its engaged in killing all those dirty Talibans and Al Queda (T&A).
Maybe the T&A had a wish for revenge because USA supported Isreal both military and in establishing new settlements. To that i would say that its wrong to support Isreal in such a way, and now USA has changed their minds and told Isreal that they should no longer create more settlements on palastina soil.
But still i think T&A needs a proper beating. Ofcourse if they surrendered and gave away their weapons and showed us their facilities, then ofcourse i think we should allow them to surrender.
Just stating that we are not there to kill them into oblivion. But obiously T&A wish to fight and a fight we will give them.

Then the military is there to fend of stupid Russia military jets that fly close to our airspace. They could be armed with nukes ! This force us to have our airforce on standby 24/7. That is expensive and cost a lot of money and it is to no use.

Then there is peacekeeping troops in kosovo. We dont hear from them but i beleive they are doing a good job.

Anyway i dont think the army should put an effort to try to motivate the homepeople that they should support their own military. That motivation should come from the heart, not from the military. Instead the military should just put an effort into doing their military job or whatever they have to do. Then we do ours. Like working, paying taxes, which finance the military.

    @ shadow

if they were truely muslim then they wouldnt do that , its like if a christian kills and its in the bible not to, they
arent christian. Dont say that MUSLIMS are doing this . say that "TERRORISTS" do it.

Edit: Al quaeda SAY they are muslim but they are not. Their are many differences in this religion such as
Shia and Suni so dont say muslim overall

Every religion is curropt - al queda corrupts the religion to gain power , not every muslim agree with them
yet the media fails to cover that and only covers the gruesome parts of whats happening their, its the same here
the only reason they show it all is to cause fear and gain power just as Al queda is.

"the more you can enforce fear the more you control all the people" edit of noam chomsky's original quote

every country or religion is as corrupt as the next.

If I remember correctly, Britain has been involved in their own wars too. Don't just put this on America as if we're the only ones who've ever had to go to war. Freedom requires protecting, friend.

Edit: Fail for not checking that this topic is really outdated.

Freedom also cannot be forced by a 3rd party...
Massacring civilians, destroying hospitals and railoroads and polluting the ground with uranium in a "thou shalt be free" or "thou shalt not be terrorist" crusade isn't really my definition of protecting freedom...

Cancer and leuchemia rates have also trippled in the balkans after the Klinton presidency bombings(with the generous support of Britain,Germany,Italy,Greece and other countries supporting this "freedom" cause).

I agree with Tink. When was the last time there waas ACTUALLY a fight for freedom?

I think it was the American Revolution, which was when....1600s?

Meh. I'm happy being a Canadian liberal. At least there's nobody as stupid as the Tea Party Movement in Canada.

    POWER TO THE LIBERALS!
