Probably not. I like my taskbar along the bottom because I have a box on the left side of my screen where I keep all my shortcuts in a more compacted format, which means I can clear my actual desktop of any shortcuts.

EDIT: Oh, the glory of dual screens.

One is a widescreen the other a 4:3? A bit... odd for me. I like the icons solution, but I only have about 10 right now so it's not an issue for me :D

I've ditched icons completely in favour of a great program called Launchy. I basically hit ALT-Space and start typing the name of the program. When it finds it, I hit enter and BAM done.

Plus it allows me to bask in the glory of my wallpapers.

I don't understand how you can bask in the glory of dual-screen wallpapers if you always have at least one covered up with whatever you're doing. I like having single-screen wallpapers on both that cycles continuously. Also Alt+Space is an awkward shortcut for me, plus there are instances where I can't remember the exact name of the program I am looking for.

It's a customizable shortcut. You could set it to whatever.

By the way, your tray seems to work ala Win XP. Win. I'm having trouble understanding the idea behind, say, having at least 2 MSN windows when one was enough in XP.

^ I don't get that either. It pisses me off having that useless extra thing there.

Urutashi that's sick. I don't think I have any space-y wallpapers in my collection. Mind if I steal this one?
