Ever looked back at your contribution to the forum?

I also think some people would be a bit, 'Awww' if I left, but I also know that some people would be glad for me to be gone.

 

Ah the good ole days when I posted 40 times a day.

Good times, good times. We had more people who actually posted something of sumbstance. Now most of the happening's are rehashing of the same ole same ole, and random spam in SJ.

OMG!!! IT'S STILL THERE!!! THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!!! Not... why bother to have the thread about a poll where the poll has been deleted!?!?!?!?

I blame GupLup[E].... he revived it after almost two months.... Can you as mods make comprimise? How about you put the poll back, but don't show who voted??

The most posts I ever made in one day... Hmmm I think it might have been 70, and it wasn't mindless spam either, I think. That was back when I still had about 150 posts.

 

I had an average of 40 posts per day for the first few weeks I was on the forum, when I was new to starcraft and was very interested in SC2 since it was the first time I was ever on a forum about a game. Reached over 1k posts in the first few weeks I was on the forum, and it wasn't from spammy posts either..

 

I am not sure what my highest posts per day was, but I am sure it was never very high. I was/am normally a lurker and at one point I was in the top 5 for the most time spent online. And I agree with missing the old debates that used to happen but hopefully that will change once the beta is released....

@DT_L I am not quite sure what happened to the poll. No one can delete a poll, not even global mods. If you saw the intervention of one of us what you what have seen is either the options changed, or the "who voted" area removed along with a modification of the poll values, but there would still be some husk of a poll remaining. And I know Jon and the admin had nothing to do with it because the admin hasn't logged on in a long time and the argument in your topic died along time ago so Jon would have had no reason to do anything, and if he did he would have just deleted the thread outright.

 

Kerwyn you might want to check your post, it has lots of errors where I don't know what goes there...

And the poll couldn't have just disappeared though, like you said, no one can delete it.... Omg! A mystery! The mystery of the missing poll... time to do some investigating... But really, where did it go...??? It was awesome... Plus, the box isn't even there.

 

I think the one contribution I am proudest of was saying, "Make the '2' in the logo bigger, and its background transparent." I didn't even remember this, but I was apparently also the one that suggested the blue glow around the 2.

I was also a contributor in those titanic threads in dayes of olde. I never posted frequently, but I imagine my average post length is longer than most members'. The funny thing with long posts: you can tell that lots of people just glaze over them, as most replies have to do with shorter posts earlier in the thread =p

I either read them or don't. If the first paragraph doesn't interest me, I usually only skim over the rest of it.

Its a shame the posts before the move don't count in the 'view all posts by user' thing.

 

What I see when I go back and read my old posts is a lot of spelling/grammar errors from a lack of typing ability.

And DT_L I don't know what happened all I know is the poll is gone and the people that could have done it wouldn't have.

 

You know what? Everyone should remember my Ych9 is the champion! thread. Hilarious...

 

Me too, I used to have many grammatical errors and over usage of internet lingo like "lol" or "rofl that was funny!".

And Kerwyn, if you don't know where the poll went, do you know if it may have been hidden from public view? Could you ask the other moderators? Pretty please? Or else...
