Is there a way to improve the game's performance by extracting the file from the MPQ file? Specifically, I'm trying to cut down load when moving from mission to mission in the campaign.

So you want to go in to your game data and cut out parts of the data in order to make it faster? That sounds like you're gonna mess up the game real bad.

No. I don't want to remove anything. I want to decompress all that stuff SC2 normally uses so it doesn't have to decompress it in game, thus reducing loading times.

That is WAY above my head. You take "mod" to a literal sense. You might ask TheXev. He is really good at tech-support stuff, and this is kind of related.
