Fear of spiders...

Yeah I've seen them before (on a pic of course ;D) but I seem to remember them by a different name which I can't remember right now.
Tip: don't believe the stories you may find on the internet. They don't attack sleeping soldiers, they actually try to remain hidden. And they only feed on bugs in Camels' furs IIRC.

 

Still something that size I wouldn't want to find in my tent. Those things are huge, I'd be paralyzed with fear if I woke up and was one of those things in my room.

Hehe...that'd be quite a thing to see. One's chilling across the room when you're awake and you're so scared that you grab the nearest M16 and just start shooting at it nonstop....that'd be quite a little anecdote to tell ppl

The myths related to them Sun Spiders (oh yes hey are called wind scorpions too) are crazy tho, they say they chase you while emitting a bone chilling screech at 25 Mph. And other outrageous claims. Their fangs are scary tho, its like Scorpion Claws in the place of fangs..

It is sooooo cute! I wouldn't mind having it as a pet! Of course, feeding it would be to much of a chore, as would the tiny spider muzzle...

Even if they aren't really dangerous, it's looks are enough to keep me away. Those fangs are huge, and I wouldn't want to tempt those biting down onto my hand, so I'll stay clear of them if I ever have the unfortunate meeting with the Middle Eastern world.

 

They eat lizards and shit but like most creatures they'd rather avoid confrontation.

And I say its definitely possible to eat a small incest while sleeping, as some people sleep with their mouth open. Just depends on the environment you live in, obviously theres more chance if you have a big garden with your window open.

Plus you eat a lot more bugs while you are awake, stuff like bread, cereal etc all contain traces of insects from fly eggs to grasshoppers, theres a huge list on what contains what and what the allowance is for the food to be sold with the amount of insect bits in it, don't know if the actual limits can be found on the net but I watched the programme on national geographic or discovery channel.

well i guess you dont really think about what you are eating, do you know what geletin is made of, or what milk looks like up close...
anyway something funny happened. normally i like spider but one time...heh...i was on the crapper, the lou, whatever you call it, toilet, and a spider crawled under the door about the size or a quarter, ish black and kinda fuzzy, I live in California southern btw, and it stopped and just stared at me. Now normally i leave them alone and just ignore it but after a minute of this perverted spider staring at me on the wastebasket, another name eesh lotta name for the poop deck, i eventually got sick of it and *SQUISH* bye bye. only time i ever killed a spider in malice, however that ugly one a few posts up id kill that one first second uuuuuuuggly!
