I think it would be epic if we split a willing community of sc2 players into the three races and had our own little war decided by 6v6 battles and whatnot.

I think there are the best players in the forum play as protoss.

There are communities for starcraft that are still perfectly active and up, aslong as starcraft 2 lives up to the hype it should fine for a long time, either way the last expansion should be about 2 years after wings of liberty.

Well then this forum may last for a few more years, but after all the games are out it may not be as popular...if at all!

  5. The last expansion probably won't come out until 2012 so this community will be fine at least until then. But, then again, it's not like communities die over night. This community will be fine.

Look at sites for games like Counterstrike: Source...

Still around and kicking. Why would you think SC2F would be any different?

Even if the first part of SC2 is out, this forum will live for some years because of the two others parts. Maybe after the last part but I'm thinking that patchs will still have comments here.

  12. No. It's Canadia :) As in the land of Canadia :D

    Fixed.

I don't care if this is off topic, and not in Space Junk.

Lol, The future of this forum may be a bright or a dark future but it may never die, may always be popular. But the day this forum closes will be a very sad one..

  15. Do you have another account? Because I wouldn't think someone with 53 posts would care so much.

    S'what I was gonna say.

But to sum it all up.

This forum has 3+ years on it left.

  17. I'm sure we'll be discussing the lore behind the games for years past hat. I mean, how many Duran theories and such are still being discussed today? If we aren't still discussing the lore at least three years past the final product's release then Blizzard didn't do their job.

I swear I have already seen this topic posted somewhere.

Anyway, It will still be active for a certain time until everyone has pretty much share their ideas.

This forum doesn't have to die out at all. If SC2 lasts as long as the first one did, it may be even active for years to come, though that we'll have to see for ourselves.

Activity will most likely rise significantly just before release and then maybe expansions with ups and downs in between. After all's been said and done about SC2 it will get low, but there may still be people here 10+ years from now, even if there's not much talk about starcraft itself.

I've been a member of a Black & White forum for nine years now and it's still alive, even if not kicking. And there's much less to talk about in B&W compared to SC
