Future of Starcraft2Forum.org

hmm...that gets me thinking. If this forum does last for many years, I should take screenshots of what the forums looks like now, so members in the future can see what the forum looked like years ago.

Sadly, I only have 1 image of the forum from its older days, and its my leet posts image. Cant even remember what the old format's name was

 

Yes, I have an Account previously which was 'Protoss Kills Infinitely' but I just thought I'd start anew..I have been with this forum for a few years but with PKI I only looked not posted, and only posted very rarely..So I thought I would make a new account, since i couldnt remember the password on the old one and that I wanted a Different name. I hope this account will be a more frequent poster, since I am on Starcraft2Forum.org whenever possible, and post whenever something interests me. Thanks guys/girls for saying what you think the future will be for this forum..

EDIT: Good idea Eon, Maybe take some pics now and then take a pic every few months or so and then compile a profile in the years to come?

 

Have you talked about this to mods? Multiple accounts could get you banned...

 

He's pnly using one, and he's been advertising it in his sig so i'm guessing he's fine?

 

well if anything, clan empire will always find randomness to talk about on these forums

Lol, I need to get a legit version fo starcraft so i can play Battle.Net, have never played starcraft on there! Have to get a job so I can afford it tho xD.

 

You probably shouldn't advertise the fact that you have an illegal version of starcraft.

Used to be at starcraft.org before it got turned into the horror it is now.

What if It becomes MORE active. People might love SCII!

 

Lol, when it came out, I had a legit version of starcraft+brood war, but the discs got sooo scratched, so I couldnt play it for a bit until my dads friend, had an 'illegal' copy of it, so he gave it to us and then I have gotten cd images of it off some other friends since so I dont need a CD What time do most people think/hope that Starcraft2 will come out? im hoping for the end of this year *gives thumbs up*.

 

Yes, sometime around the end of the year is what most poeple hope for, as well as what Blizzard is aiming for (could be changed due to something unexpected of course).

 

It all depends on if Blizzard puts anything we don't expect. If they put something in while hiding it from the public, of course this place will be busy about "was that a good idea? should they have put it into the game?" Many things to talk about. I believe that this place will jump up in activity, of course, and then die down for a couple of months and then go back up again when they announce they are working on the Zerg campaign.

 

first days, there will be less activity, and then a lot new members (starceraft2players who want to discuss the great game) and the forum will be as active as never before, then many members stop visiting forum but some still stays

 

I think after sc2 comes out i may be a little inactive but after i played it a good while i should come back.

 

Lol, i might be too busy to post on here for a while when it comes out, but i will come back once i get bored(10yrs later lol).

 

Yeah, even after the release of all the Starcraft II trilogy, there will still be many things to talk about like:
Did Starcraft II live up to fan expectations?
Was there anything you thought Blizzard should have changed?
...etc.

So many things to talk about.

 

I think that this place will get more bigger as we add more categories for maps and other things related to sc2 that we already don't have.

 

FINNALY

Somebody who understands how freaking big custom maps and mods are. Seriously, with all the tournaments coming up, and mapmaking with the best editor ever, the forum will be fludded with people for years. By the way, the poll is biased. There is not even an option for the forum activity increasing... :s

 

When all three expansions come out, we may lose some activity. But no matter, as stated above. Once the site adapts to maps, mods, and tournaments, new members will come flowing in.
