i've done an eye and a heart, the eyes just bad because its hard to get and gets very messy.

 

Ah, k. I've been told it's hard because you feel it's looking at you, but I've never done one myself. Also I've been told that when you make the first incision, because it's pressurised, a bit of eye fluids spurts out.

 

all disections we get in class are from parts that dont get used as meat, thus otherwise would go to waste: lamb brains, salmon heads, bad mussels

 

I've eaten a whole barramundi before, but I got such a shock when it arrived 'cause I was expecting just to get a steak. So nice though. Yum.

Hmm how i loved the days of cutting up a cows eye and a pigs lungs/liver. Really cool when the teacher inflated the lungs... oh good times.

It's fun to fill them with hellium and give them to infants.
