Very long, yes. But worth the read.

    Item #: SPC-616

    Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Only an ordained and believing minister of an Abrahamic faith with security clearance of level four or above may examine the door, and must remain at least 0.94m (3ft, 1in) from the threshold of the door at all times. Non-ordained or non-Abrahamic clergymen must remain 9.17m (30ft, 1in) from the door's threshold. Violation of this distance will result in [DATA EXPUNGED] or [DATA EXPUNGED] of particular subject(s).

SCP-616 is to be kept at the exact center of a spherical subterranean chamber with a diameter of 400m. Two 200-megaton nuclear devices are to be armed inside the chamber at all times. In the event of an XK-Class End-of-the-World scenario, or if the door opens, resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED], [DATA EXPUNGED], or transfers hostile beings in large numbers that jeopardizes the Containment Site and its environs, these devices are to be detonated.

Seven archbishops, ordained and believing in an Abrahamic faith, must surround SCP-616 on the surrounding catwalk at a distance of 3.05m (10ft) from SCP-616 at all times. Said archbishops must continuously pray; failure to adhere to this protocol has resulted in the door opening, apparently of its own accord. The results of the door opening are detailed in document SCP-616-█, SCP-███-█, and SCP-████-█.

In addition, the Pope (or a similar Abrahamic religious figure) must bless the chamber in accordance with the appropriate religious ceremony once per full year. The official must report to the Foundation and arrive physically at the Containment Site at least three days prior to the year elapsing. Failure to do so may result in the door opening, resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED]. In the unlikely event that any official misses the ceremony, a substitute must be on hand to replace him or her.

All corpses of those who have died in relation to SCP-616 must be immolated within midnight of that day.

IMPORTANT: All personnel involved with SCP-616 must submit to a polygraph test. Any personnel found to have participated in the occult, especially that of Satanic or pseudo-Satanic origin, are not to be allowed in the containment chamber.

Description: SPC-616 was the door located in the ‘red room’ of █████ █████████’s house, commissioned in 16/06/1946. Recovered documents from the construction company describe an odd-looking door found on the site of the house. It appears the construction workers built the 'red room' around the door itself, although recovered blueprints do not contain or mention the 'red room'. Upon completion of the 'red room', all workers were found dead, by various means of suicide. Agents that had arrived on scene described the deaths as "horrific"

An SCP team extracted the door from the home by recruiting Class D personnel known to be strong in Abrahamic faith. The personnel were ordained by the ████████████ as cardinals for the task. The entire door assembly was removed; this included the frame, hinges, and lintel. The assembly was lifted out with a crane and loaded into a flatbed truck, where it was moved to Containment Facility ████████████. It should be noted that SCP-616 did not take hostile action against said Class D personnel during or after the removal and movement to the facility.

Long-term observation of SCP-616 without electronic devices is not recommended. Observation using any sort of electronic device is satisfactory, though some visual anomalies have been recorded, including [DATA EXPUNGED]. As such, it is advised that personnel with a high tolerance against violent and/or disturbing imagery be used s observation personnel. Attempts have been made to observe and record past the minimal distance allowed for non-ordained/non-Abrahamic personnel via remote-controlled drone, dubbed the "event horizon". All recorded footage past the "event horizon", however, becomes altered to display images that, when viewed, cause the viewer to become violently suicidal. In extremely rare cases, they may [DATA EXPUNGED], posing extreme threats to personnel and the facility. Please see Document SCP-616-█ for further information on [DATA EXPUNGED] and effective means of termination. Additionally, see below for more details regarding recorded footage of SCP-616.

If a person dies as a result of SCP-616 and the corpse is not immolated by midnight of that day, the corpse will reanimate and become hostile to all living beings. Recordings of the language spoken by reanimated corpses have been shown to be heard by every listener in their native language, though garbled. The only discernible words we have found are, in English: ████ ██████████ █ ██████ ███████ ███ ███████. These words appear to induce extreme fear in those who hear them. Although the corpses are significantly easier to terminate than aforementioned [DATA EXPUNGED], they are still significant threats to personnel. In the unlikely event that a corpse is not disposed of and reanimates, complete destruction of the body is required, preferably using flame-based or explosive weaponry.

Amplification devices were placed three feet from the door by rover on █/██/████. D-class personnel just outside of the "event horizon" were to try and establish a conversation to test for sapience. The door answered, apparently telepathically. When the door began ‘speaking’, all personnel in attendance died when [DATA EXPUNGED] via various orifices in their body. Clean-up teams were dispatched, but were forced to use improvised rovers for clean up due to [DATA EXPUNGED].

On █/█/████, A remote controlled rover obtained footage from within the door. All personnel who viewed this footage directly subsequently self-terminated by various means. A security tape of the video with the recording playing did not cause any death, despite containing full sound and color recordings of the footage. It displayed a video of a small child violently being [DATA EXPUNGED]. All further attempts to observe past the "event horizon" have yielded similar results, and such expeditions are no longer permitted.

Not bad. With the length I was expecting buildup to a shock image, but imagination alone is enough for those three-ish minutes.

    Item #: SCP-899

Object Class: Euclid (formerly Safe, see Incident Reports)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-899 is contained in a rough patch of forest in Rocky Mountain National Park. The SCP-899 phenomena has not been able to travel more than than five meters beyond a standing, living tree, thus the area has been isolated by creating a continuous fire-break around the affected region. Three park service cabins are staffed by Foundation agents on the borders of the site for the purposes of preventing hikers and travelers from attempting to enter SCP-899. Agents are authorized to administer Class B and C amnesiacs to any trespassers. Children who enter SCP-899 cannot be recovered, and containment must be maintained by removing those who have knowledge of the child's last whereabouts or by planting false evidence of death by natural causes elsewhere in the region.

Agents who come into physical contact with SCP-899 must undergo regular psychiatric evaluation.

As the SCP-899 phenomena has become increasingly more violent, all trees within five meters of the observation cabins have been removed. Personnel entering SCP-899 must do so in pairs and carry sidearms with custom iron ammunition.

Description: SCP-899 is a psychic and telekinetic phenomenon that most commonly manifests as groups of hostile phantom children. Travelers in the area have reported being pursued and harassed by small shadowy figures that curse and throw rocks in an attempt to drive them out of the immediate area. The figures tend to be featureless and it is usually difficult to determine if they possess any gender or even individual voices and behaviors. Failure to leave the area will result in an increase of aggressive behavior culminating in a direct physical attack by the entities. An adult who comes into physical contact with one of the entities will suffer the loss of all detailed memories prior to the onset of puberty. General knowledge of family members and living conditions will remain, but persons who have been affected by this memory loss often display a significant change in personality. The most common symptoms are a loss of impulsiveness and curiosity, and negative responses to attempts at humor. Affected persons also tend to become highly impatient with children regardless of their prior behavior.

Pre-adolescent children who come into contact with the entities will physically disappear, after which some or all of the entities may take on parts of the lost child's appearance. No attempt to communicate or find the whereabouts of a child lost in this way has yet been successful. Adolescents who have not fully matured past puberty are [DATA EXPUNGED]

Although more detailed manifestations have been encountered within the area, no attempts to communicate with the entities within SCP-899 have resulted in anything but attacks on Foundation personnel. Items made of iron or SCP-148 are useful in warding off direct contact with the entities; however as it is not necessary to confront the phenomenon in order to contain it no tools containing SCP-148 have been allocated to SCP-899.

Travel through the area is also hindered by a spatial anomaly that makes land navigation difficult. Compasses and GPS navigation systems will give false directions and trails through the underbrush will change course. Although there are occasional sounds of wildlife within the affected area, no wild animals or tracks have been observed within the range of SCP-899's effect. Animals brought into the site are also subject to attacks by the entities, although they will not attempt to make physical contact.

Experiment 899-1: Conducted March 23rd to May 15th 2009. SCP-573 was transferred to SCP-899 to test its effect on the child-like manifestations. SCP-573 is successful in driving away the manifestations, although the spatial anomaly that complicates land travel within the area remained. Due to the harmful effects of prolonged exposure SCP-573 was returned to containment at the conclusion of the experiment.

SCP-573 should be contained here with SCP-899 as they can effectively be used to cancel each other out. There are no children or animals to be exposed to SCP-573 inside this place. Please reconsider and return 573 to my care. -Agent W███████

Incident Report 899-25: June 10th 2009. A new manifestation has been encountered in SCP-899. The entity took the appearance of an adolescent male covered with bloody wounds. Rather than the normal interaction it immediately attacked Dr. ██████, resulting in severe lacerations and distinct bite marks on the arm, neck and upper thigh. Dr. ██████ is undergoing treatment and quarantine.

Incident Report 899-26: June 13th 2009. Dr. ██████ is released from quarantine with no permanent damage beyond scarring. Dr. ██████ passed a psychiatric examination with expected results and has been able to give detailed recollections from his youth despite physical contact with SCP-899. The new manifestation has been classified SCP-899-1.

Incident Report 899-27: June 20th 2009. SCP-899-1 manifestations have been increasing in number and have been observed in direct conflict with other manifestations of SCP-899. SCP-899-1 has also attacked the cabin on the northern border and started a fire which resulted in the death of Agent W███████.

Although SCP-899-1 can be deterred in the same manner as SCP-899, the new manifestations display a significant increase in aggression with intent to kill. Research suggests that the change in SCP-899's phenomena is related to exposure to SCP-573. No further cross-SCP experimentation with SCP-899 is allowed at this time per O5.

    Item #: SCP-122

    Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-122 is to be stored in a 10 m x 10 m room, containing a single electrical outlet. Personnel are prohibited from sleeping within 500 m of the containment area. At no time should SCP-122 be removed from its socket, or otherwise removed from its source of electricity. Several redundant power systems are to be maintained and inspected regularly. A security team of no fewer than eight (8) are to be present at all times, and O5 authorization will be required for any direct access.

Description: SCP-122 appears to be a children’s nightlight in the design of a stylized shooting star. Its composition is unremarkable, with the exception of its bulb. Analysis of the gaseous substance within the bulb has found similarities to the phenomenon of ectoplasm. The bulb itself is inseparable from the body of the device.

When plugged into a wall socket, SCP-122 lets off a modest degree of light, no more remarkable than other commercial lights of the same size. When someone is asleep within the radius of SCP-122, a long harsh shadow is cast from the subject, and a lucid dream state is induced. At this point, the shadow becomes a living, shadowy simulacrum of the subject, which begins to act out the will of the dreamer in reality. This simulacrum is considered SCP-122-1.

SCP-122-1 possesses a superhuman degree of strength and speed, which it exhibits based upon the desires of the dreaming subject. While each dream is different based on the subject, the conclusion of the lucid event is always the same, with SCP-122-1 strangling the subject to death. If this occurs, SCP-122-1 is free of control, and becomes an independent entity. The only method of dispelling SCP-122-1 is the removal of SCP-122 from its power source.

When unplugged, SCP-122 will release gamma radiation exponentially, until rejoined with an electrical source. Removal of SCP-122 to prevent SCP-122-1 from breaching containment is performed remotely, to avoid further deaths by radiation poisoning. Inevitably, SCP-122-1 will attempt to sabotage this device, and both incidents where it was successful led to over ██ casualties among staff.

SCP-122 was discovered at ██████ Children’s Hospital in ██-██-████, after all staff and patients were found dead of massive radiation poisoning. The exception, however, was a small child found dead of strangulation, with a nightlight near his bed. It was presumed that an attending nurse removed SCP-122 from its socket after the death of the child, leading to the release of radiation. Agents secured SCP-122 with a portable power source, and it was transported to Site-19.

    And another:

    Item #: SCP-718

    Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: No long-term observation is to be made of SCP-718. Any and all observation and interaction is to be restricted to five and ten minute periods, with personnel rotations every twenty-four hours. Extreme care must be taken with SCP-718, and full hazmat suits are mandatory for all personnel. Any damage done to SCP-718 must be reported as soon as possible.

Any personnel observing or interacting with SCP-718 for longer than the advised period must be removed, with force if necessary. Any personnel acting in a erratic or violent manner will be transferred.

Description: SCP-718 is an eye, roughly the size of a baseball. It is supported by a long, thin stalk made of tendon and blood vessels. It stands 1.22m (4ft) tall, and appears to need no nourishment, nor excrete any waste. The eye will turn and follow any living thing in its field of vision. The stalk is capable of limited movement, and will follow living things for a short distance. SCP-718 will also stare at any observational equipment in its containment area if no living things are present. SCP-718 appears to prefer staring at humans more than other animals.

SCP-718's stare can induce discomfort and paranoia in a very short time, often resulting in a subject's attempt to destroy SCP-718. The eye, if damaged, will explode, showering clear fluid on all nearby surfaces before shriveling into powder. Anything the fluid touches will develop a clear blister-like bubble that slowly turns black. After twenty four hours, the "blister" will burst, and a 20.32cm (8in) copy of SCP-718 will emerge, growing to full size over the course of a few days. This has been shown to occur on all organic surfaces, and many inorganic.

On living subjects, copies of SCP-718 are permanently affixed. Attempts to surgically remove SCP-718 cause extreme pain in the subject, though removal is possible. Aside from a vague and persistent desire to destroy other copies of SCP-718, the host suffers from no ill effects after removal.

If SCP-718 is not removed from a living subject, testing indicates that the subject becomes able to 'see' through SCP-718. Vision with SCP-718 is different, as [DATA EXPUNGED] is now visible, at the expense of more conventional sight. This has an extremely detrimental effect on subjects, drastically lowering mental stability and often leading to suicide. The death of a host will cause SCP-718 to burst.

Eighty-six instances of SCP-718 are currently contained within the containment chamber.
