    Two things.

Blood collects in the genitals for women too, so yea.

Two, you never had an erection till puberty? Seriously?

No you are right and you are also right that he should know better, but this is Fenix we are talking about. It is just the way he is so you'll have to deal with it.

You also right that women have it worse than men when it comes to puberty and other things as well. That is why I thank god that I was born a male.

    @Bane - I can't force you to believe anything :)

Honestly, puberty is prolly the most annoying and embarrassing time in the human lifespan. Pretty much sucks tbh, but at least it's only a few years.

Yes furrer you should. Erection starts already from around one years age its nothing puberty dependant. Either there is something wrong with you or (more likely) youre not being honest.

    Guess who's joined the conversation!

Ever been kicked in the nuts? Perhaps not so puberty related, but still gender related. I mean, we were at bleeding inflatable toad-lizards for a while, so right now I think pretty much anything goes.

Yes, but I think you'll be aware that a little bit more happens with men.

A few tiny scars? Try having chicken pox to the degree I did. My chicken pox scars range from about five to eight mills, and they're just the ones I can see. Apparently the largest ones are some of the ones on my back.

Then again, I guess I'm not really in any position to complain about skin blemishes here.

Ok i researched a bit (google), and got some points:

Its not something you should, but it happens very often - especially as a baby.
Most people get it, some of those dont remember it, others do. Some people dont get it before puberty.

And its not something you should!

Whatever, I might aswell be proud in the end of being something special...

Edit: IHG please dont start to talk about nutkicking, its very very painfull - but thats also your point ;)

furrer - there are special cases for everything. Its like saying 'you cant say humans have two arms and two legs since sometimes a person is born with a missing limbs.' exceptions dont always refute the rule.
And yes being proud of something that you haven't effected sounds a little 1950 to me. Mabye if you had functional wings or eyes shooting lasers but a ***** which did not erect before puberty? Wow youre a super-hero.

(please dont beat me I am just having fun)

It wans't that scary. Seriously, you preach about being SO much more mature and open and you're the most immature one here. Yeah, it's scary but it's not like the world is ending. And if you're a weak enough person to be affected by that kinda thing, then it's your fault. don't start claiming puberty is worse for you just because it happened to scare you more than it ever should. srsly, it really scares some guys i know that stuff happens in their body too. Deal with it.

Yeah, happened to me, too. Only you don't flip out like a crazy idiot and figure out 'hey, maybe there's something going on, like puberty!' you say here you thought you were too young, implying you already knew about puberty. That's when you stop being a little kid and decide that oh i guess i'm not and i'm not going to die. And Jesus, you are like every other woman saying it's SO bad. Well, imma give you all a 101 on the woman puberty moment:

Yes, periods are painful. It feels like your insides are literally bleeding, which they are. It makes you have nausea, and your body can have cramps, and it's just not a fun time. There are days where i have periods where i feel like i'll throw up, or i can't take a test. But there's this stuff called pain medicine. I don't take it, though, and just deal. It can be better or worse for some women, but if it gets really bad (and most women start to have regular periods, so you can just take pain meds and prepare around certain times). Mine aren't, though. I've had at least 5 times where i bled in public places without pads or such. You do your best to deal and hide it, and you don't overact. And during that time your mood sometimes changes very dramatically. But it's a classic example of the media telling women it's okay to use excuses. It's not the ebst thing but it's not half as bad as women make it.

seriously, shut up. Stop making it seem like you're the only one who can have bad things during your life. Men get just as confused. Maybe they don't start bleeding or having mood swings, but they have a lot to deal with, too. You think it's any LESS traumatizing when people get up and have to do a speech with an erection? I've seen it happen and everyone laughs, too. And erections are also painful if you wear tight pants, you know. I know enough guys to know that. It's not like it's just that. Men are also expected to be a lot (not that women aren't) and it's BS that you think men are over reacting and understating our kinds of things. I've had my own awful experiences with puberty, too, but you don't see me turning into a gushing water fountain claiming mine is worse than everyone's or that men aren't even close to what it is.

and more religion remarks in a puberty thread? real mature, by the way. Keep saying you're in your mid twenties, Darth. everyone believes you.

Also, on the topic of hormones, it's hard but you learn to live with it. there've been some days for me i just want to cry my eyes out, or i just feel so rotten by everything, or feel like stuff is crashing down. There will be times you just wanna say screw it and do whatever, but all i can offer you is the thought it'll pass. You just gotta keep going through it. Heck, i still am. And i'm not sitting here and thinking woe is me, i have mood swings and bleed, i'm saying yay i got friends who support me, chances to make myself a better person, and when it's all over and done i'll be able to cope with more than i ever did.

Well, yes indeed kurai. - its obviously a touchy subject for her, and many others.. And rightly so.. My point being, i didnt wanna lay in there.

But yeah, i agree. In respect to mood swings, men do indeed suffer from some during that time period - elevated testosterome levels caused me to get crazy angry, and then generally crazy depressed.

Fortunatly, it wasnt so much that i couldnt control!
Bottle it all up man... Thats the way.. to.. d.. Ughh *sigh*..

Who am i kidding, im still depressed!

Touchy or not, still no need to act like the queen of drama and pain.

And I know, hormones are bad for everyone. differing levels of estrogen and testosterone wreak havoc on male and female emotions, though only females really try to self glorify it and give reasons for being a jerk. For a woman in society it's understandable but a man suddenly gettign violent is beign a delinquiet, which i deem to be unfair. And how true, i feel ya there, Ren xD it's no fun during these times.

The advantage of female puberty is that it gives them an all-encompassing excuse: women's problems.*

"Why are you late for work?"
    Women's problems

"Why don't you want to come over?"
    women's problems

and the list goes on :D

*anyone who finds this ignorant, I got it from a comedian, these are not my own words.

    I know right.

    100% gods honest truth Eon.

Men mood swings are sometimes quite horrible. Some of you know me well enough to know that I have them now. coughkuraifenixcough Fenix points them out by the way.

Kurai, lighten up. Maybe something very bad happened her during that time. Something she doesn't want to share.
