A few things I've found about anger management...

Physical abuse, verbal lashings, and other destructive behaviour are some common outlets of anger among teenagers. Even sulking and withdrawing from others are some ways in which teenagers vent their anger. Both the aforementioned outlets are destructive not only to others, but also to themselves... Destructive behavior (throwing large, heavy objects for example) Is how i vent my anger sometimes.

I also found some stuff on meditation. Sounds like a load of bull **** to me... Wouldn't recommend it...

But yeah seriously, just let the people know how you are feeling, tell your parents or counselor or something. They will be able to help.

Okay, finally I've calmed down! The reason I'm only twelve going into high school is because I skipped 1st grade, and my birthday is in about 2 weeks (September 17th Yay! Be sure to send me minerals as a present)
Oh, I forgot to tell you about our Geometry teacher... She cannot teach. She just gives us work and expects us to understand it and do it. She hardly ever explains stuff to us and when she does she just explains it very poorly. We get like 2 pages of textbook work and a worksheet to do in class and if we don't finish that, we have to finish for homework along with another worksheet. It's been like that the whole 2&1/2 weeks of school so far.

Plus, since I just transferred into my Language Arts class, I need to make up the 3 other quotes I wasn't here for and the other one for today. That's 4 pages of writing. I'm going to be practicing writing big so I have to write less.

Biology is fine but so far it's all just review for me. I'm stuck with some idiot Sophomores in my class who took Integrated Science last year (Biology is like honors but for science).

I do not take social studies this year, but the next three years.

In health class (can you believe there is a health class?!?!?) for some reason we aren't learning about our health, but filling out college scholarship applications and writing essays about the prompts on the applications. That's two essays, plus the 1 that you need to write for the 2 scholarships you need to print out online.

    P.E. Well it's okay...

    And that's my day.

Yeah... I don't see the problem here... Learn to work around it and meld it to your will!

Everyone hates school... I don't think you can claim that somehow your experience is so much more terrible than any of ours. ;)

I mean, think of doing all that in one day after having only a few hours of sleep. For a 12 year old, that's tiring and angering. I mean, we don't really need that much work.

I remember surviving on about five hours of sleep each night through a lot of my junior years, and I'm still doing it through most of my senior years. Not to mention that I'm the kinda person who sleeps for ten to twelve hours on weekends and through the holidays, so five hours is hell for me.

You have it easy. I went without sleep at all for at least a fourth of the nights. Suck it up. :)

    @ Jon. It's not a moaning contest, it's just a reality check.

@ Wlck. I find that pretty hard to believe. Maybe it's just 'cause I like my sleep so much, but surely you wouldn't be able to function without sleep for a fourth of the nights. Not unless you were getting like twelve plus every other night.

Eh, you learn to get by with coffee. Lots of it. That and I spend pretty much every day off sleeping or playing videogames/sports/working out, etc.

Just go to your room, cry, scream into a pillow, kill the pillow to death, and hurt yourself without risking death.

Play FPS or listen to Jazz, that's my recommendation.
