Something makes me feel glad that I haven't looked at the Protoss Reproduction thread in a good long time .

Listen, guys, it is your duty as registered members to keep track of other people and power them down only when necessary. If you stick by then and actually do it when you're 99% sure they deserve it (and not because of a personal dispute) then you're free and clear. Whether they power you down back in retaliation is irrelevant. Eventually the correct opinions will show through. The mods (and forum rules) have already stated that repeatedly powering people down for no reason is reason for a ban or removal of powering abilities.

If you power someone down for a legitimate reason and they retaliate, they will still eventually be the ones to lose out. Yes, you will be temporarily sacrificing your own power level, but eventually it will go back up.

However, on the flip side of the coin, I am very reluctant to give out both powerups and powerdowns simply because I feel they're used a little too often. Just make sure that you feel very strongly that they were out of line before you power someone down.

But this is still the most effective way to deal with crappy posters.
