anyway not to go TOO far off topic, anyone has 'concious dreams' ? I sometimes just realise I'm in a dream and from that point I can just wish to wake up ("You can't fire me, I quit" ^^) or better yet, do anything else. Since a dream happens in MY mind I can alter it as I wish including giving myself abilities to fly or make fire at will. The downside is that I always wake up soon after I start having fun Guess having my conciousness in a dream is not well accepted by my subconciousness.

I gave it some thinking and I wonder: what is the limit to our dreams? Most of my dreams take place in some twisted versions of places I've been to and we all know that dreams tend to be unrealistic. Where do these unreal vision really come from and what's more important for me, just how unrealistic they really are? And what is our place in dreams? I've mentioned conciouss dreams before, which I now assume to be just semi-conciouss. Doesn't gaining conciousness make us awake after all? Anyway back to dreamland, I've had one dream about a month ago where I actually wished to grow wings - and I did. A pair of wings grew out of my back and I flew on them for a while until I woke up. Now to the point of this post: How far could we go in such semi-conciouss dream and what is creating the limit? Is it imagination? Or maybe anything we do purposedly in a dream is what we are actually capable of? Laird's note: maybe he's going too far?
I have no idea how they did it but someone estimated that we use about 5% of our brain's capabilities. If it's true what is the other 95% able to do? Why can't we use it? Maybe we limit this ourselves by means such as reasoning or disbelief, we obey the laws set upon us and don't even try to think we could go against them.
Another thing while I'm at it, if the 5% thing is true, where does it place evolution? We usually lose things that aren't considered needed anymore, like most of our body hair. Why would there be so many things in our brain we never used to begin with?

something happened to me like that, it was after a long 2 a day training session,[which is the closest thing highschool has to a bootcamp for football] i had to walk home a good two miles after running around in a helmet and pads... when i finally got home i showered, and ate dinner, then chilled out on my computer, i went to sleep around 11ish and when i went to close my eyes and lie down i'd hear the coaches yelling and shit . i thought i was still out there

 

I get up, i get dizzy, i bash my head on the t.v and fall into my bed, no biggie happens all the time..
