    Ah, but on the flipside, would you, as a great, supreme, being, rather have people learn from their own mistakes or intervene at any bad thing that happens? Would you rather a child learn from their own mistakes, or have you fight their battles for them?

    Who would the non-interference contract be written to? Mega Super Duper God? Or is it just a mutual pact between them?

    Mutual pact between them. There's enough of gods so if one of them openly breaks it, the others... uh I dunno, do something mean to it?

    If they could openly interfere it would end in the world's end, so they decide whos most awesome by getting the most people to worship them while giving them nothing in return.

    I think I'm on to something here
