Firstly, I don't get how you can have conditions in the answers, but I guess it's simply too hard otherwise. It seriously does depend on the situation, but I guess if it was in public, which it would most likely be, I'd ask around a bit. Obviously wouldn't go out of my way to ask people, but yeah.

Also, if it's anything smaller, I'd simply pocket it. It's not going to make that much of a difference.

And Light, don't you mean you'd divide it up and distribute it amongst the peoples? :p

He divides it up amongst who he views to be the poor. AKA himself, himself, himself, and himself.

If i found a 20 dollar bill i would plant it so it would grow into a big 10 dollar bill tree or shrubs that would grow like potatoes and have little sacks filled with 5 dollars worth of quarters.

Ive found cash on two occasions.

    Found a 50 at a beach when I was 14, and a 20 on a sidewalk when i was 17.

I saw a fifty on the side on that path when I was like... Eight. Unfortunately my brother dived out from in front of me and got to it first. :(

well, if you give it to a teacher, they would ask their class if anyone was missing a twenty. obviously there would be some jackass that would snatch it right away, even though it wasn't his. don't let the jackass have it. keep it for yourself.

Usually it's fairly easy to tell if they are missing it, or if they're just trying to make a quick twenty. And I mean really easy to tell. Even for a teacher.

That it is, overmind. That it is. However, you could always go to the foreign exchange markets to exchange it for some paper money that you'd be able to eat.

Hopefully Zimbabwe, or wherever, still has one dollar notes, haha. Wouldn't mind exchanging an Aussie twenty there!

and get what? 20 papery bills (or are their dollars entirely different currency?)? Why not go for something like Yen, assuming it's papery.

Of course then I'd have to Void you for messing with trees...
