not sure about other currency, but US dollars aren't made from trees, it's not paper. The dollars are made from fabric.

Take that you tree huggers. Money doesn't need you or your trees :D

The Japanese Yen money are only 'papery' once it gets at 1000 or above, anything between 1-999 is coins.

talking in Yen that is, 1 US dollar = about 100-107 Yens. so you would need to trade 10 US dollars to get 1 'papery' Yen thing thats worth 1000 Yen.

No, you'd just have a warped sense of how much things are worth. It's not like Japanese burgers are worth three Yen, they'd be worth like, three hundred Yen. The only difference is that the value of one Yen is smaller than the value of one dollar. It doesn't mean that the value of what they produce is smaller.

If I needed it I would keep it. If I didn't I'd give it to someone who does need it.

Wow, so the Japanese people are the ones considered rich? Or is it just that everything is worth more in Yen. Like our minimum wage is something like 8$, I think, and in Japan it will be proportional to the $8? So it would be like 800¥?

Stop saying that... Why should I bother using Google when I ask it right here and I get perfectly good answers?
