    SPOLERS

With a lot of hype this movie finally arrived to this country. I've seen it.

    What is your impression?

Can't say Best Movie Ever, but damn fine all the same.

3.5 out of 4 for me. Leonardo does the whole "pained memories of losing his wife" thing a bit too well.

It was weird seeing Cillian Murphy as a not evil person.

Fight scene in the hotel between Arthur and Fischer's subconcious? Amazing. Simply incredible.

I found it hard finding difference between Lenonardos acting in Inception and his role in Shutter Island, but it worked anyways. I think people are slightly - just slightly overreacting when they say that it's the best movie ever but it deserves to be spoken off in superlatives.
It's definetly the best movie of the year (unless we are really, REALLY surprised by something else) and deserves a spot in the top 10 movies of this past decade.
Remember it's strength: There are a lot of movies that can compete with this one in the plot/intellectual area. There are a lot of movies that can compete with this one in the visual/audio impression. But it is damn hard to find a movie that can combine both of these two effectively and Nolan is one of the few people who was able to do that so far.

Actually as has been said in the movie all you need to do is to implant an idea which will then grow and spread by itself like cancer. That's exactly what happened with this movie. The first 40 minutes of the movie I wasn't all that sure about it and bordering on with disappointment. Then as the movie progressed it picked up and I really liked it by the end. Now it's several hours after seeing it and I love it more and more as I roll it around in my head. Damn you Nolan!

    ^ spoiler alert.

Anyway. I really enjoyed it, one of my personal favourites, but not "The Best."

How long did they sleep on the plane? The trip was 10 hours, but they weren't asleep the entire time...

I thought it was great, not the dark knight but defiantly better than batman begins. I liked how they didn't really explain the whole extraction/inception business, and just kind of left it up in the air.

I think this beats Dark Knight hands down. Even without the use of Heath Ledger.

    Something to think about:
Cobb has wedding ring on = Dream.
Cobb does not have wedding ring on = Reality.

No he did not. But then there is the counterpoint that the children wear the same clothes like they did throughout the movie.

What I think it was at the end.

    THAR BE SPOILERS AHEAD MATEY

He was still dreaming. However, he had let go of his immense guilt from Molly's death, and thus was able to see the faces of the children he left behind as they were a reminder of what happened, and the fact that he couldn't look at their faces was a manifestation of his guilt, as shown in his memories/dreams.

I think I just may see it a second time, possibly in IMAX. Knowing how it ends (sorta) and the way the logic works, it'd be nifty to try and pick up on things I missed.

That's exactly what I wanna do, Fenix.
The top was clearly about to fall. They just wanted to plant a seed of doubt by not ACTUALLY showing it fall.

Then why were the kids wearing the same clothes?

They probably put evidence that proves either outcome so people couldn't figure it out.

I liked it a lot, not the best ever, but maybe the movie of the year for me. (Even if I was expecting the ending alerady at the middle of the movie :) )

It was a great movie and a must see! Not the best ever, maybe not even top 10 of all time in my book, but certainly a great movie.

EDIT: I read mine after TheOne21 above me and it sounds almost identical.

Are kids not allowed to keep their clothing? I guess you could bring up the fact that they didn't really seem to age...
