    Actually, they're not a different species, they're a different class. Domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species.

    Dropping a lobster into boiling water would kill it instantly. It would be dropping it in a pot of water that you then slowly bring to boil that's tantamount to torture. I mean, even if they don't feel 'pain', there's going to be something that tells them that there's something drastically wrong about their immediate environment, which I can't imagine would be very pleasant.

    Insects do have nerve endings. If they didn't, their body wouldn't be able to communicate with itself. I mean, even knowing they can see proves they've got nerve endings.

    I go for military grade stuff if I am going to destroy things, and there is no law in the United States that prevents you from owning a military grade flamethrower. You never know what you might go up against, and i want to live.
