Mmm, you are right. One way or another, the Earth will readjust itself in the end. Whether that is a mass extinction, mass human suffering (as if it's not enough for many now) or *shock surpise* global human initiative is up to us to decide.

We'll see, and I'll be happy if - down the track - we can actually prove my pessimism and lack of faith on team humanity wrong.

 

I think the best method for population control is darwinism. When someone through their own stupidity causes fatal injuries to themselves nature should be allowed to do its job by removing defective genetic coding from the gene pool. Not only will there be less people but the people who remain will be more capable of dealing with the problems due to being stronger and smarter.

Natural selection is the reason we are human in the first place and not monkeys so why stop it? Why not allow evolution to continue making us better as a species.



Note: Fatal injuries caused by ones own stupidity is not the same as an accident. If you are walking down the street and get impaled by a girder that is not your fault and medical help is what you need. If, however, you decide to get drunk and drive into a brick wall that's your own damn fault and you should be allowed to die; good riddance.

 

Ok, that is fine, injuries caused by someone's stupidity should be allowed to kill them. Though you shouldn't straight out kill these ppl, you should let their injuries kill them, because maybe it doesn't kill them, then they should deserve another chance.

Other injuries shouldn't. Say almost drowning in embryonic fluids, poisoned as a baby, ruptured appendix, huge chunk of thumb cut off (almost bled to death) ect, should be cared for. And yes all these happened to me.

I voted second option. Its a sad fact of our times that so many people dont deserve to live.

 

So what about all the disabled people populating the world. Theres a HUGE populous of bad genes. Serious we are screwed, no matter what.
Everywhere is changing.
England is getting much hotter, various places in england are getting hit by big storms and waves. Northern parts of the UK get flooded out more frequently.
Spain is starting to gets floods and big storms.
Africa is getting hotter.
Rainforests are dying out.
Huge forests are catching fire a lot more.
Less forests = less oxygen and carbon dioxide clean up = hotter climate = major change

Now when the global temprature rises, New york will get flooded completly, England will get flooded mostly and turned into marsh land.
many places in the US will have what is known as El nino much more frequently.
More Earthquakes, much bigger storms.
Quite frankly we can't handle it as a whole. New Orleans still hasn't recovered has it?
Imagine if a main capital got taken out, we'd be f**ked.
Since people have lost most of their natural survival instincts, thats another big chunk of humans who will die out.

New Orleans hasn't recovered because no one wants to actually rebuild it. That requires work. An option needs to be added called "we're already taking ourselves out". Think about it, how big of a world problem is obesity becoming? Did you know that in the U.S., 1 in 4 teenage girls has an STD (I don't know the number of women in Europe and Asia with STDs, so if you have anything...)?

But did you know that what is really interesting is that populations are actually falling? Lower birth rates among Europeans, Asians, and Americans coupled with abortions is actually creating a falling population. Of course, the third world still breeds people like rabbits, but that will stop when the west no longer pays for it. Of course, this creates a huge economic problem. When the population gets older and can no longer work, but still consumes resources, what will happen? Find out 2015!

For those who care, there is a show on Naional Geographic airing at 6PM US East Coast time March 20(tomorrow) that demonstrates what would happen to the world if humans suddenly dissapeared.

I plan to see it and see what National Geographic thinks will happen to the environment.
