Your best bet is to just treat her like anyone else, I think. Don't act like you like her, just be her friend. And don't continue trying to make conversation if it doesn't work, because it'll make you look like a goon. Just act calm, and in control.

If it gets to the point you need to make conversation though, ask open ended questions that need some explanations. About things that interest her. It's tough for me to say without knowing the girl, though. Just try your best.

See what happens. If it works out, it works out, if not, there will be others.

Just my opinion though.

 

Honestly dude, just one sentence: Never let anyone or anything (including your own mind) ever tell you that you can't have what you want. Just chill a little, don't press it too much, and just be patient, just try to talk to her as a friend at first (although, if you say your friends are immature, slightly differently than your friends ) and then just be patient until she's comfortable with you.

Remember, girls are people as well, they have the same emotions as you, they like to laugh and chill too, so just try not to see them as different than you.

That is pretty much the best advice I can give you. So go out there and get yo woman! :thumbup: ;D

 

actually i think my best friend at this moment is a girl. So i obviously dont think girls are different from guys. And my friend is really awesome, i sometimes think i would like ask her to be my girl friend, but i dont think that would be the best idea. I just want her as a friend. And like i said, my friends are just so stupid... i dont even like them much, but seeing as how i dont have anyone else to be with, well i might as well talk to them. And as for the girl.. well idk, i think i am over her, but i just cant seem to get her from ignoring me. I wanted to tell her that i didnt like her like i did before, but she just avoids me... meh i guess fro now i just will have to wait...

Actually this is really the best advice. I think I am doing stuff like this, showing my true face, stay calm, treat girls like others.. Yesterday I got thrown off but I don't care Gah that girl is really nice and sometimes it seems she likes me sometimes not..
And trooper_loozer some of my friends are immature too, and many of them prefer computers than girls, soo I sometimes get into meaningless conversations about hardwares and processors in front of the girls, and the guys just don't let me go, so I am kinda trapped, sometimes I am a bit depressed about this either.. Aaah this is a total mess..
And also most girl in my class/in the school are interested in older guys.. Kinda weird, but I've found the girl who isn't, but the story is what I told before.. Sometimes likes sometimes hates me.. I will never understand women

Hmm, I agree. We may be different in certain ways, but overall, men and women are about the same in soem respects. sure, everyone i different, but many men would be surprised to find a girl similar to their ideology of a guy than a girl.

And, Trooper_Lozer, i agree with them. A lot of girls i know like beign with their man, but they want to be treated like a human being, not soemone different. If you start treating them different they start to get uneasy and suspcious. As the other said, ask open ended questions. try to find otu what she likes and talk about it to her. finding points in common will definately erase awkward silence

I was twelve when I got my first 'girlfriend.'

But I was sixteen when I got my first girlfriend. The difference here being a real relationship. You'll find that as you get older you realize how immature you were and how nobody really had an actual girlfriend until mostly through high school - even as late as college for some people.

Message - don't sweat it if you are having girl trouble early on. The real stuff comes later.

Ninerman, I had a girlfriend for like 3 months, one year ago, everything was good, the only thing was that I listen to rock, and she to disco music, so going to parties.. Well we couldn't have kinda fun together. If she (or I) liked other music, I think we would be still together, cause we really understood eachother..

Lol dude if music got in the way of your relationship I don't think you two would still be together even if you both liked the same music. It's a pretty superficial reason to break up.

Side note - rock is my favorite type of music, so WORD.

 

You know, I really hate that music.. And she really hates my music ;D Actually we are still friends but nothing more. I think it is kinda good result. It could be worse..
