The Medics ability to heal is what makes it useful Zacron. It would be like removing Siege Mode from the Siege Tank because something with the lore was a little funky. And it wouldn't be a medic anymore either.
Illogical? Like... what? Is it illogical for Medics to heal? Why should they even be called Medics if Heal was removed?

They aren't like field medics today, where you just wrap bandages around stuff until you can get actual treatment. Specifically, the tools: "have been expanded to chemical modifiers increasing Marine survival rates and the use of nano-conveyed anaesthetic and attenuated lasers to carry out on-site surgery." So Medics aren't actually healing the armour, they're just using crazy advanced technology to get THROUGH the armour and heal where the unit is actually hurt.

I propose we take the Machine gun off of the Marine and give him the Healing Ability, if you look at the lore it makes more sense. Marine Link: http://www.starcraft2.com/features/terran/marine.xml Medic Link: http://www.evula.com/starcraft/terran/units/medic.html Compare the two and you will find that if we switch the weapons it makes more sense to give the Medics a Machine gun and to give the Marines a Healing Ability, but how bout this when they gain the healing ability they lose there armor so there just guys in there underwear healing women with machine guns. Sounds great, eh? "Yes, this was a joke!"
I have the same reaction indigent. How does giving the marine heal have anything to do with lore, it's not even described anywhere in the marine's lore about healing units.
If the marine only lost bit of his armour no physical injuries (let say one damage),how does the medic "heal" him?
I find that odd, yes. Lol. I have been damage to a point where my armor won't even be able to hold up, but I am still in tact, therefore are still in full health.
Heres a new idea. Medics can heal the unit, but the damage has reduced their armor, so they receive more damage. Or their armor is just getting thin, so they receive more damage. There is a limit though, the damage cannot be past 20.
Well how about the simple solution that since the Terrans have nano technology that medics use special nanites to repair a units armor? This is of course on top of the actual wounds a soldier may recieve.
And SCV's healing biological units like Marines would be a crazy rush, and SCV's don't cost gas, which is totally IMBA.
