My thing is I find everything in one go, don't make a bunch of trips. FYI, if you see a hole in the very bottom of the world...don't jump in it because it's a bottmless pit which will kill you. Just lost a LOT of tools and armor with no way to get it back.. -_-

If you saw a bottomless pit in real life, would you jump in it?

Well in Minecraft it's hard to see things if they are too deep and dark. With no light, the blocks are black, so if I'm standing somewhere and looking down into a hole and it's black, specially before ever seeing a something like that before, I was under the impression that the entire bottom of the world was covered in the black stone that's a pain to break. I fugured it was just a realllly deep cavern..but to answer your question...if I was abouto die I would because I'd be curious what it'd be like to fall forever. xD

Adminium is actually impossible to break - Even for server OP's. I think you're mixed up with Obsidian.

    Anyways, torches?

This is the best I could do, didn't wanna fall in the hole again cus I had some diamonds on me. =P It looks like it's whatever color it is outside, or rather what ever time of day it is. I remember the first time I saw it it was black making it seem like a deep *** hole but if it had been day I woulda known something wierd was up and not jumped in it. When I did jump it ended up being as though I was drowning in mid air. Was really lame. =P

Also..random pictures of my new wall. :D Decided instead of deal with monsters I'm going to juse make a giant wall filled with light along with pillars of torches all over the main part of land like my little forest (Second picture) so I can go there whenever without having to worry bout monsters. -_-

Anyone realise on the front screen they spelled dance wrong in the phrase Let's Dance. Spell it like Danec or something.

The nether realm is quite cool. Biomes are still a bit odd, but its nice having access to snow.

note that you can make underwater glow now. I think I'll try making an underwater base.

Steal seems a lot more abundant now, which is convenient in my eyes because I found myself holding back on the steel items before the patch. Is it just me or do monsters spawn faster with a lot more skeletons than usual? Music's tight now too. :)

    Thank the lawd.

Also, The Nexus is pretty cool. I hate how the portals are 4x5 though. I make all my stuff odd, so they're off center :(

Yeah, iron. My bad. >_< But yeah, the monster thing is getting on my nerves. x.x Such a freaking pain to explore caves now if you don't move fast enough because you get massive mobs, and lets face it...the battle system blows and nothing you get is effective against 3 skeletons, 2 creepers, and a spider. -.- And since it's dark outside it doesn't leave me with much space to navigate in. lol

drei, he's taken to calling it The Nexus on twitter... it might be that that's a place in the Nether though.

Takaim, bows and arrows are way better than any sword and are a godsend for fighting spiders and creepers.

Okay, I hate the ghast. Love to hate, but still hate. 3 ghasts in the same area fire upon me, the cliff under me crumbles (goodbye diamond sword) and the portal gets deactivated

    Swords are useless!!

Also, funny thing about ghasts. Fire hurts them, but burning doesn't. Bug? Dunno.

Actually burning does hurt them, only it fades as soon as they aren't exposed to fire anymore.

    no.

    Fire does fire+burning damage.

yes, I know its a small difference, since they are still only hurt by fire. Big whoop.

Also, when my base is finished, I think I'll upload the level here so you guys can see it in all its glory. Large fort, underwater chambers, lotsafun.
