besides, arrows aren't much use when your portal is located on a cliff inside the nether, where there always at least two ghasts hanging around. got blasted in the lava every time I entered the realm.

Minecraft lags so hard on my laptop. Also, it was dubbed The Nether on release and on the wiki. Notch calls it The Nexus lately. Hell was possibly considered, but Notch wanted to avoid religion. There were a couple other names used to refer to it, but I can't remember them. It's on the wiki.

 

The slip was also suggested.

Try to reduce sight to avert lag.



So, what do you guys have for a wishlist?
- ruins biome
- drawbridges
- flower colors
- fruit trees
- bigger ships

(drawbridges and bigger ships might need a larger construction facility)

 

A ball of yarn. I'm dead serious.
Horses/Carts.
Better door locking options.
More aggressive zombies (in that they attack certain materials if they see you or light)

I got a fun game for you guys. Somewhere in my base, I have hidden a room (and I am not talking about the underwater rooms with the glass ceilings). Try and find it. The room contains multiple chests, one of which contains a diamond and some gold bars. First one to post its location wins 50 minerals.

So..I found a tree with mushrooms in it..wtf? Also found a perfectly round room in a random cave..freaked me out. x.x

Perfectly flat corridors are also quite creepy. Just chalk it up to notch liking screwing with us.

 

Do..the portals to the netherworld usually create random portals that you come back through elsewhere?
