    - Chains (easier way to catch neutral mobs) (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: Ropes before chains. Ropes would be so fun. Suspending stuff and attaching stuff. A super-big crafting grid for tying certain knots in rope.)(IJffdrie's note: I was thinking more along the lines of right-clicking to catch something, make the rope/chain act like a leash. Than rightclick somewhere else to attack the other end of the rope/chain.)
    - horse neutral mobs and attachable carriages (Fenix)
    - Aggresive mode (zombies attack certain materials and fight towards light (Fenix)

    Plants
    - more flower colors (IJffdrie) (EMR's Note: More types of flowers, too)
    - fruit trees (ijffdrie) (each fruit tree has one or more fruit filled branch blocks instead of just leaves. rightclicking will cause the fruit to fall off. Fruit can be eaten or used to plant a new tree. Multiple trees: bananas, apples, mango, etc)
    - more weeds (ijffdrie)(barley and corn. Barley for brewing beer, corn has long growth time, but can also be eaten raw)

    Magic (if implemented) (EMR's Note: Anything "Magical" can be attributed to red iron and lightstone.) (IJffdrie's note: except y'know the portal. Magic fits in this game fine in my opinion)
    - capturing a monster (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: Like, Mind Control? Maybe monsters could be pacified, but I don't want mind control...) (IJffdrie's note: I was thinking more along the lines of cages or force fields or something. Keep a nice collection of monsters. Monsters that are released would be aggressive towards any target, including other monsters)
    - reversing the flow of water (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: I would much prefer the ability to simply create pressure.)
    - lightblade (ijffdrie)(takes lightstone dust, makes your blade emit light like a torch) (EMR's Note: How about entire sets of armor and weapons craftable with lightstone in the empty spaces of a 3x3 grid, which applies light-emission to whatever type of armor/weapon you are crafting)

    Terrain
    - A ruins biome (set list of standard buildings/farms/roads, remove 50% of the blocks at random from any spawned building, than remove anything not connected to the ground) (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: Should also have above-ground dungeons and loot in them.) (ijffdrie's note: @EMR Maybe that'd fit better in another biome?)

    - placing a weapon on the wall (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: Perhaps a craftable Wall Mount that can have any item mounted on it?)
    - two furnaces next to each other become a large furnace, which melts two things at once (ijffdrie) (EMR'S Note: Furnace + Furnace + Furnace -> Forge would be cool)

    - Drawbridge (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: This, along with plenty more doorway-like craftables, such as revolving doors, windows that open/close, sliding glass doors, garage doors, etc.)
    - A bigger ship with cargo capacability and less crashing damage (ijffdrie) (EMR's Note: Steerable using helm/wheel, customizable, implement wind that can be used with sails, etc. I feel like a pirate.) (Ijffdrie's note: I don't think the steering wheel would be handy with the small minecraft seas. I was thinking more along the lines of a small fishing ship (3x2x2)
    - Better sign control and bigger signs and iron sign engraving (EatMeReturns)
    - Light switches (Fenix)
    - Projectiles (EatMeReturns) (EMR's Note: Cannons would be pretty sweet. And I don't think they would be too hard. I'm not so sure about guns.) (Ijffdrie's note: While the setting does seem to be set in a more modern age, I am hoping for catapults and ballista's)

    Combinations of blocks would be nice. Something like a bulldozer which requires coal to work for a short time which chews through both rock and dirt easily. The player would have to make all of the seperate parts like wheels and such and then put then put them together all in one. Would be fun to have something that could rip through a large area quickly.

How about a 'hull' building material, that is placed on water and floats and anything placed on top of it floats as well. Add a way to pilot it, and you can build anything from ships to floating cities

    Water Blocks. o.o Throughout the ocean there are blocks of water with "fish" swimming around in them to give the player something to look at while underwater...because there is nothing. The player should be able to mine them with a bucket and place them where they want. The player should be able to put them together to make larger fish than swim in circles within the blocks of water, or make their own pathing within a certain area.

    Lol ya I saw that. Haven't been to the nether yet, though. I just got cartographer to work. :D Who wants to see how long my tunnel is and how big my caves are?!

    The vertical yellow-ish line is the enclosed space for my magmafall encased in glass. It goes to the top of the map. The break in the line is my house. The continuation of the line, splotched reddish and yellow/green, is my main mineshaft. It goes to the bottom of the map but is partly obscured by another set of tunnels. The long, thick red line is my main tunnel extending from the mineshaft is my main tunnel and it flanked by two smaller tunnels. They all lead to the Central Hub. The central hub then extends to the sides with 4 small tunnels to the West/East Hubs. The East hub has a long, small tunnel that leads to the Arboretum. This is the largest of all of the underground rooms. The main tunnel extends beyond the Central Hub to the South Hub, which is obscured by a natural tunnel in the foreground.

    On Tunnel View:
    I have no idea what algorithms go in to tunnel view, but it is my belief that the coloration is based on the amount of light in a tunnel. Red is the highest amount of light (as visible on the walls of my hubs) while blue is no light whatsoever (as visible in entirely unexplored caves that are not exposed to the surface). Yellow is the same amount of light as magma produces (as visible in my magmafall) while green is moderate to dim light (as visible in the centers of my hubs).

    EDIT: Control + mouse wheel will allow you to zoom in on the attachment after you have clicked on the thumbnail AND clicked on the flash popup.

    So you didn't want the MAP you wanted the WORLD. So you should have asked for the WORLD rather than the MAP.
