Misconceptions.

I assume you are ok with things now, Eon (If not toss me a PM). I just wanted the names partially because I am curious and partially because this is an issue that really shouldn't have come about in the first place and I would like to make sure that everyone is clear on the expectations about certain things.

He is right however, it takes a lot of munnies to run this place. So Jon is entitled to do pretty much what ever he wants. You have agreed to follow the rules upon your registration to this site, whenever that may have been. Whether SC2 was the admin when you joined, or if it was Jon when you joined, the rules are mostly the same.

Jon is a pretty nice guy, except to me (coughcough jk jk). SC2 was awesome. LK is pretty good too I guess, rofllmaool, you all know he is the best admin we have (sorry Jon). Show our Admins respect please. You all know that they deserve it.

Mods try to keep things in line, we try at the very least. We shouldn't even be having this discussion, it should go pretty much unspoken. However it isn't, so I thought I should add my two cents in too.

I for one, think this is the best damned forums out there, whether we are talking about SC2 or not. Lets keep it that way alright? We've been the number one forums dedicated to SC2 for what, 11 months running? Aren't you proud to be able to call yourself part of this community that is so great? I know I am.

 

I still think censorship goes too far sometimes. I fail to see how **** and damn harm somone else, and if you are offended by talk of natural bodily functions, (****, ****, general innuendo) then you need to stop being so insecure.

I do agree that peopls saying stuff for the purpose of offending somone should be dealt with though

 

That is called Trolling. Not directly stated against in the rules, but it is indirectly addressed.

How is using certain words trolling, I was lead to believe that trolling was an intient to disrupt and annoy, not on what exactly you say. My whole point is what exactly makes words like **** and ****, undesirable, and how does using them count as trolling?

 

That is what I was reffering to. Trolling last time I checked.

 

So if I say **** then I am trolling even thoigh my intent is not to offend?
Also my question is what makes certain words offensive? Why do some people get offended by talk about natural bodily functions? What about sex offends people?
