Just wondering how many people here play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on the PC, maybe we can all start a clan or something
You know, Steam gave a free CoDMW2 weekend.. I tried it... and.. Well it sucked. That's all I can say. I enjoyed CoD4 online play reeealy much, but the thing with MW2 is the stupid system of joining servers. If you quit a map you don't want to play, or a server that's lagging baaad, rejoining a server will most likely give you the server you already left seconds ago! I couldn't join any map that I wanted.. I could only pick from a limited number of game modes (FFA team DM). The problem with the game modes is that I really wanted to try out the other modes and not just FFA and Team play. But I couldn't because you had to be a special rank. Imagine in Battlefield, if you couldn't play on certain maps just because you haven't played the game for a certain amount of hours. The ranks work best with weapons, but the main problem I had was that any weapon would kill anybody really fast.. It's all about seeing your opponent first, you don't have the same aiming system as you do in for example CS, which makes this game kind of boring in the sense that you can't really survive for long or play much better than others.
I tried the free weekend too. Not really impressed at all.... Pros: Graphics were good Multiplayer was somewhat fun at times List of cons: No dedicated servers Poor match making system Unbalanced multiplayer (everyone runs around with grenade launchers) Freezes on the menu if you have windows 7 Will suddenly disconnect while you're in a game A lot more hackers than in CSS Thats my overall impression of the games multiplayer.
