or maybe mutas are to massable to be mergeble.. its not like you can get 48 templars in a few secs like mutas...
Merging an ultralisk with two mutalisk.. Lol. One heck of a giant, melee, flying, super unit, with four wings?
anyway... i still want to see the former evo's if not maybe in the map editor but by just staring at the name "muta"lisk the creep indeed needs more evo's or new if not ^_^ the probs with the muta evos is that they both had diffulties fighting air/ground units so maybe a new evo will be able to compensate for air supremacy.. since every1s talking bout a flyin ultralisk... maybe the mutas need a fusion ability enabling 4 mutas to bond together forming "quadrulisk???" ^_^ but this time the glave wurms bounces 4times + it shoots 4 glaves + greater armor now that would be the next phase that i had in mind...
i got a idea for the new air evo. What if the muta mutated into a flying "sniper"?? A kinda fast air-unit that fires some kind of discusting goo over a long range(siege tank-range or guardian-range) it would be excellent for destroying slow capital ships like BC:s before they get in range! Anyone who likes it?
hmmm fast moving snipers??? i guess that would own all of the other units even the carriers so that means sniperlisks = imba :bad: eace:
What you are describing already exist and would be beter off as an evolution for the guardian lol. Fast moving guardian that can be micro'ed. Lol.
you tell me that it already exists, but wont tell me what it is. Teaser. What unit has a long range AA attack?(except for carrier...) And i mean REALLY long And i said "kinda" fast. with that i mean like, the muta...
Why don't you just make a unit that hatches little interceptor like units that can fly.. Basically a weaker form of a carrier that has kamikazee interceptors..
Then they gotta have TOTALLY different roles, cause blizzard aint really the people which do a siege tank to every race
I think mutalisk had too many evolutions so far.. I would prefer seeing new air units mutated by a larva.
Zerg has two types of units (basic characteristics) that you MUST follow: 1) If it's attack is powerful it's sacrificial. (scourge, infested terran) 2) If not, it is most valuable in large numbers. So one strong unit that might resemble a carrier in characteristics doesn't fit the Zerg "theme."
ok mammoth flying crabs, and gigantic flying caves were weird enough i don't want to see a giant whale turned inside out come flying at my carrier spraying corrosive plankton at it. (actually the more i think about it, the cooler it sounds) ahem, i don't want to see four mutalisks merge into one giant cocoon, land and emmerge as paul bunyon turned inside out that can launch his elastic arms like that guy in mortal combat and grab carriers right out of the sky, who for some miraculous blessing to the terrans can be taken down by a squad of marines, because he can't pick units off of the ground.
