My thoughts after watching the gameplay video several times

    I don't think Dark Archons will make a comeback personally. Although their abilities were no doubt powerful, they still remain as one of the least used Protoss units. The time/resource req for obtaining them then building up energy was kinda much. They were rarely seen in serious multiplayer, esp. at higher lvl. Not never, but quite rare.

    It's not entirely impossible to simply redistribute some or all of their abilities to other units, or to just one new replacement unit. As mainly a Zerg player, I wouldn't shed any tears if maelstrom never made its way back to SC2. It would be interesting if come release day, not all of the abilities are replicas or "versions" of old abilities. Now, that would be a refreshing surprise.

    I don't think they were upgraded, in the first part, a zealot ran to the group of marines, naturally he got slaughtered BUT he did't kill any single marine..but when the group charged the marines, the marines got slaughterd. so you will just have to assume its part of the demo. because i don't think zealots are that strong/weak?

    well, all the marines were focusing that 1 zealot, but when the group ran up to them there targeting is all over the place. So i think only 1 or two zealots die, a reason why you need goo micro to get the most out of your units

    Introduction of new gameplay strategies and mechanics is always the way forward in making innovative RTS games, as long as they do not interfere with the balance of each side.

    I'm glad that others too noticed the poor reduction of the siege tank's fire power and effectiveness while on their siege mode

    if any one didn't see it i would say they have never fought a terran player or played terran
