New units, heroes and villains revealed in the portraits! (NEW XEL'NAGA REAVER!!)

My thoughts: This is just the tip of the Iceberg in terms of the hybrids. I half expect that after the protoss and zerg campaign/expansions are released that they will have a surprise announcement of adding the Xel-naga as a race, with their own campaign and a new totally different playable race in multi.

 

Insurrection has nothing to do with duran, it is non-canon and takes place during starcraft pre-BW. And retribution 's canonity is in doubt as well


Xel'Naga will not be added as a race, especially not in the expansion. Adding a race takes a lot of balance work, and would you like it if none of your units worked like before you bought the expansion?

 

Did you ever play SC alot before BW was released? Changed everything. Blizz expansions are well known for changing the rules with each update. And I'm talking like 8-10 years in the future, their would be a separate expansion after all the natural ones are released. Xel-Naga would have their own campaign and they would be added into multiplayer. Hey WC3 had four races. SC2 is gonna be a massive cash cow for Blizz, why not extend it?

 

Well 8-10 years from now I'd be expecting a new game.

Blizz has said War3 is exactly why they stuck to three races for SC2.
