I started playing Age of Empires 1 again.

Oh man. The sound effects are hilarious, and the soundtrack is wicked.

it's weird you should say that because just the other day I found an old bootleg version of AoE2 in an old forgotten downloads folder

I reinstalled and spend a lot of my free time doing regicides on the map of Britain, re-enacting famous battles and recreating Hadrian's Wall and stuff

I've been playing a lot as the Goths and Japanese, mainly because I like Infantry.

    Simple and effective with backup.

I installed Skulltag Doom. Fun stuff. 8 Doom characters vs 600 monsters = insane.

    That was always awesome.
There was one pod that barely fitted on most tracks, so I always picked the guy with those squares on his head.

My nostalgic games: roadrunner on the commodore 64, doom 1, goldeneye 64, banjo tooie, starcraft: brood wars and the mother of all rts games: dune 2. Every self respecting rts gamer has to finish that game at least once. -with every side, no chickening out when the harkonen turn out to be the hardest to play-

Apparently I'm not a self respecting gamer 'cause I don't care.

Lol. It was the first rts game ever man. It was dune 2 that made me really like videogames, the strategy... It was better then anything I had played before. Dune 2000 was just a remake of the original. Edit: wikipedia says dune 2 was not the first rts, but it is still the first that you could play properly without going suicidal. And westwood studios made it.
