If it would have been a republican people would have gotten upset because they use any excuse to hate republicans. however, no one cared obama couldn't do anything. it's not the fact he didn't do something, beause there's not a lot tbh, but it's that people don't condemn him for everything he does like they did wish bush even before everyone started hating him

 

Kentucky froze? I live in Missouri and we got lots of snow, but it didn't freeze over. I assume you guys aren't used to much snow in Kentucky, but what you got would likely be seen as average in the northern states, which is why he didn't do anything.

Sorry, but when we get angry at Republicans, it was either because it was clearly their fault a given event happened, or because they could have contained the negative effects of the event, but didn't.

And for the record, the media has over the last decade has repeatedly played up anything the democrats do into outrages, even as it ignores much more obvious misdeeds by the republicans.

The stimulus does nothing, they found that out from last years stimulus. The Bailout/Stimulus are no brain solutions to the failing system we have been using for years apon years. Before US was even established and tried to free itself from. The system was designed to fail, and we are there.

president is like the captian of a boat, he gives the orders, but its up to the crew to run the ship. Obama wont fix it, if anyone can, its us. this is why we are ****ed.

anybody during his term woulda had the same happen. Nothing happened during his term. Nothing happened and he did nothing. And yet, his yearly pention for those couple of years.. is 200,000+ besides the free life time secret service, free rent, free food ect. This is the REAL lore of being president IMO.

Dude.. we are the superpower and our economy determines just about every bodies. If we fail, England, China, Japan all off my head, would fail if we fail. Besides the fact based soley on that we are the superpower.. you may not watch other country electoral days, but once we arent the superpower, you can bet your asss all youll be watching

well i don't think anything could have been helping our economy anyway. not if mccain was elected, and not obama either. it's going down for several reasons. and obama's plan of making a bunch of temporary jobs and getting more into debt isn't helping. just going to be a larger crash later

Becuase my goal wasn't to insult Imagine.... Anyways I am more than willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt on a lot of things simply because something has got to give and I would prefer it to give to the left v. the right on most issues.

No, the economy is going to fail because everyone believes its going to fail, and are too cowardly and too lazy to admit that if they'd payed attention, held the politicians accountable, and worked hard, we wouldn't be in this mess.

If you are counting on the new president to solve everything, you are part of the problem. The new president can only give people a chance to solve their own problems, however, the president is not and can not do the work for you.

 

It's not 100% the politicians. It's the big banks that f&*ed us over.

wodan...i never said i believed the president could bail us out, did I? and yes, he can give us a chance to solve our problems or royally screw us over. and agreed with Phoe, it's not the politicians fault. The banks screwed up because of all deregulation going on and thought they could get away with it, and even when they knew bad things we're going to happen, they were to into it for themselves to care.
