other thread was closed, so ill post my thoughts here:

I like that the president is trying to do something to change the economy, but there's no easy way to do that. I know both my parents would rather he shut up and let the economy do its own thing. Problem is, the economy doing its own thing is what got us into this mess.

Stem cell research:
I personally don't feel in either direction in this. The fetuses used are ones that are already destined to be abandoned anyway, so they have no chance to live a full life. So its either be left in jars or destroyed, or used to try and do scientific tests.

if the economy is a doomed as you say it is, then by all means, put more money into it. If the economy does truely and uterly collapse, then what we know as the USA is forever gone. Total economic collapse leads to the lose of government control over its population. Even the 1930's collapse wasn't a total collapse.

Also, the econimic crisis is world wide. Every major country is having problems.

Lol wow, hmm how can I say this.I'll jsut say I voted for Barr because I hated everybody that was running. Now after saying this I'll add this,I may not like the guy but majority rules so I'm forced to support him,or move out of the country.

 

I am not too fond of American politics. Though if i were forced to choose, i'd prefer Obama over McCain, mainly because of his economic stimulus package, because, y'know, THE ECONOMY WORKS BETTER WHEN YOU SPEND MONEY.

I'd take balkenende over Obama anyday though(Balkenende is the Minister-President of Holland) even though he sucks.(i really need to work on my english writing skillzzz)
