My username dates back to when I played WarHammer, and I had the Lizardman Army Book. In it, it had some words from the Lizardman language. I made Itza-Hex-Gor, which literally means 'First solid strike' but I use it to mean something along the lines of "I will do the first significant damage".
As for my avatar, it is obviously Tassadar. Tassadar was the greatest hero in StarCraft. Hands down, no question. I was stoked when I discovered that the Zealots now say "En taro, Tassadar".
By the way, what was the thing is your original avatar, Headstock? I couldn't really ever make out what it was. Also, I much preferred Gasmaskguy's original avatar to the one he has now. I'm not sure if it matters to you, but personally I prefer the original one.
I'd like to out a little footnote expressing how I don't like people who frequently changed their avatars. I know who the person is by the avatar they have. I am not very good with people's names, so this is an excellent way to compensate for that, except for when people change them all the time.

I agree, plus it's faster to just look at the avatar than read names.
Oh, and I'm changing mine back soon enough, just need to find a way to make it to gif ^^

Well I think my sig/items are more distinct than my avatar so I think people will recognise me from them. But I might change my avatar back to good ole dancing elmo... after I've stopped thinking it's cool to have an avatar that could make you go "wtf something just moved there... or didn't it?" ;D

Yeah! I'm not sure why, but I don't like the new one very much. I think it's because the mouth-piece is far to long and the two eye pieces are too small. It's just my opinion though. I goes without saying that you don't have to change it back just because I don't like it. I just happen to prefer the original one more than the new one.

I could create a poll where everybody can choose between the two. (Or even more, I'll try to find more gasmask pictures ) That would be kinda fun.

this is my original avatar, slightly touched up with photoshop to make it better

I picked it because vivi is my favorate character in any game and i relate to him.

btw Meee the reason you chose a red mage is because you knew on instinct if you picked a black mage i would kill you.

this particular scene with vivi is when hes fighting the black waltz #3 on the airship when there on there way to lindblum, is it not tweak

I didn't 'knew', it was just instinct. Honestly, I always liked Black Mage from theater more than Red Mage, I've no idea why I actually picked him. Plus Vivi is my all time favourite FF character.
You could almost say it was really instinct and your threats (though I used this av already in another forum), but... I'm not afraid of Death, in fact I have some rather urgent questions I'd like to ask him. Maybe I should just switch to Black Mage and use your _free_ offer of help to get to Him.
