    I sold my Beta key, got 500$ out of it, it was worth it! Muhahaha. Then i bought a 200$ Key, then resell...repeated until no more keys were cheap. But i made like $1200. Which is quite good in my words.

    Just happened upon this a bit late and had nothing to do so I'll comment :p

    If you have so much money that you don't really know what to do with them(That ferrari you got last month already seems boring to drive) then 500$ for a beta key is nothing, yeah go ahead and give them. The guy selling it will 99% need the money more than you and you get to play the game you like early :p
    On any other situation it's just stupid to give a month's wages for any game, especially an incomplete version of a game you'll buy for 45-50$ a few months later. :p
