Yeah, you could lift a larva but I hardly see that being worth it...

It would be more cost effective and damaging to simply target the egg.

There's a .1% probability that using AG on the larvae would be useful.

99.9% - Vs. Open warfare vs. units and structure manipulation
.1% - when a protoss player would like to add psych insults to his losing opponent saying "guess you dont have enuff balls eh??" lol

-anyway my question about anti-gravity is if it has limitations to its lifting power, say for example: would it be powerful enough to raise a thor? and if so, does an impact damage apply when the nullifier drops its AGied unit/structure?

If the player has just one or two Hatcheries, you've taken down their other defenses, but you don't want them to rebuild or counter as fast... one or two Nullifiers can be quite a pain. This would apply to any race, too.

AG does not do damage to any units upon returning to the ground. It can also lift any unit as of now, including the Thor.

Then thats just too powerful for a unit that small lorewise. But anyway Ive got nothing against the Nullifier coz it really is one cool new unit.

Protoss is turning out to be the "March of the machines" if i may say lol. Im looking forward seeing how irritating it is to have a forcefield preventing crucial spots, especially with the colossus at the back Zap!

I agree with Neon, there is potential to lifting larve or eggs.

In the scenerio he gives I would just use my units to kill larve/hatches.

However say your are just attacking. Your actual damage dealing units have to deal with defenders and statics. When lines meet is the appropriate time to lift larve. Zerg build quick. If you can slow 'em by 5 secs when you first start pushing through may make a difference. Zerg have an inherent weakness to antigrav as well. Say your a dumb **** noob who has not built proper detection. You see some hydras turn to eggs during a small skirmish. Lift 'em up while they are ever so immobile, mop up any enemy forces present, when the eggs drop back down you have 5 extra secs of undefended eggs to lay dps on before they hatch.

Even if Zerg are less affected by antigrav; that's why drones morph into buildings/ probes warp in buildings/ SCVs build buildings. Race diversity.
