Just finished R2
DBZ mecha fights were a letdown compared to 1st season
Rest was epic.

Yeah, the fights were Okay-ish.. The final Guren x Lancelot showdown was a letdown. I expected it to be more of a take up ALL the episode and have one of them die, preferably Suzaku, kind of thing.
Opinions on the Zero Requiem? Personally, I just BAAAAAAAAW.

what happened to the Knightmare Lelouch and CC piloted at the end of season 1? I forgot already, was it destroyed back then, left to be hijacked on Kanejima or it's the Lulu's personal frame in R2 and it's just my imagination that it shrunk?

If so, then yes, I believe it was destroyed, but the Gareth was developed soon after. They featured the same integrated Float System, and colour scheme, but were extremely different. It's Hadron Cannons are wrist-mounted, as opposed to Shoulder, and so it lacks the Slash Harkens that were located in/as the fingers of the Gawain. Basically, it's the mass production form of the Gawain.

With all that genius why didn't Lelouch think of Geassing himself to win battles? Sorta like the "Live" on Suzaku but "win", "save Nunally" or whatever

 

Ah, well. He used the Geass on himself when Mao had kidnapped Nunnally, remember? With the Oh My God Pendulum Bomb. Of course, if Mao never reared his ugly ass head, he could of easily used his own powers to his advantage. Too bad, that guy just likes to ruin it for everyone.
