Know what I hate? How you guys talk about how not all threads in space junk need to be derailed, yet, you did the very thing you are talking about in this thread, even though it is a serious discussion.

Ironic part about this is, is that this thread was in the Lounge board.

 

The fact that this thread whas there and got banished to here serves to illustrate our problem.

 

This thread wasn't sent here because it is SJ, so much as that is where the new board would likely be placed. Anyways, I agree with the mentality and perception problem and I am currently thinking of reorganizing the entire social section as well as adding/modifying boards so there intended purpose is clear.

And just to jump back to the original topic of this thread, while I like the support I am seeing so far I would really like to see a little more before a board is made, personally I would like to see some people try out the idea of using social groups for RPs before a board is dedicated to it.

How would social groups work for that? It's either only one game at a time, or a new group for every game. With first it'd be hard to keep track of anything and with the latter comes a lot of clutter in social groups (assuming the participation would be good). Not that there's any other use for groups...

Also, where would we advertise new RP groups? SJ? The lounge? Fan fic? Art?

No crushing intended, I am still waiting for someone to show me the interest. So far only 13 unique people have even posted in this thread 2 for sure are now missing in action, add to that me and kurai and you end without having a ton of support.
