College is definitely the best years of schooling hands-down. I am sure going to miss it...

    Yes, I'm 100% sure I did.

I uh.... I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one, Jasmine. I don't get any more freedom than I did when I was still in middle school, and in middle school, I didn't even get as good of grades as I do now. Responsibilities... I still have to listen to my parents or they yell at me and kick me out for the night like they did to my brother when he didn't come home on time. I still have chores.

Hahaha allowance... good one. My parents don't even see my money as worth anything. They don't even let me spend my own money. I mean, I got $180 for tutoring people at my middle school and so I decided to buy a Nintendo DS. My parents didn't want me to and they forced me to just deposit it. Ugh.

Upgrade computer hardware... Speaking of that, my dad still hasn't fixed my 120 gigabyte hard drive that he broke. Which had all my games on it. Which can now only work in the secondary slot of the computer. Which I can't access some of the files on the desktop. AGHHHHHHHH FML... No wait, I can't say that... My life is good. I think I'm going insane from deprivation of the joy in life.

Errr... Did I mention that I'm only 13? So basically I'll be 16 when I'm a Senior in high school. So... even less freedom! Woohoo!(sarcasm)

    Not for me :(

I still need a website that gives good coverage of global news for my World History class next year. Anyone?

I've been done with high school for years now that I'm in my 20's and for me its usually a bad thing when schools let out because I have to put up with the kids more now :p.

I have read your entire post and I feel sorry for you. You didn't get a teacher as awesome as I had in English, so sad. Ms. Brewer was the best teacher in the world and still is.

Also WATCH OUT! Because in sophomore year you are going to get a book called Siddhartha and if your teacher liked to torture you as much as s/he did mine. You should start preying as it will devour your conscience, spit it out, take a dump on it and laugh at the decrepit thing that was once your soul. Symbolism I curse you to HEL!

Omg! I got my report card a couple of minutes ago!! My grades:

    Geometry: A
    PE: A-
    Biology: A
    English: A
    Spanish: A
    Computers: A

WOOT! STRAIGHT A'S!!! WOOOT. The one thing I am distressed about is my PE grade. There is absolutely no way I can get an A-... I participate in all the sports, I finish all the runs a couple minutes before the time limit, and I'm pretty good at the sports too. Well, whatever. It's still a 4.0!! Woot! Feels like I'm on top of the world. All my hardwork has finally paid off. Those days I worked till midnight we're not wasted. YES!

Darth Bane, don't worry. I got a cool english teacher in 8th grade so I've experienced fun learning. I don't need to pray :p I just need to work hard.

Why thank you! I'm just afraid that if it was this hard to get straight A's in Freshman year, it will be even harder to get straight A's in Sophomore year.

Yeah, I'm still bummed about that A-. And yes ijjy, you can get straight A's in the U.S.

My parents had signed me up for a class at a community college over the summer for two weeks. The first day I went there, I found out class was canceled. No, not just for that day, but canceled altogether. Because I now don't have anything "productive"to do, as my parents said, my dad forced me to make a schedule for summer that I have to follow everyday.

And you know what? My dad is like "Oh you can't be off by even one minute" or "are you following your schedule?" I just wanted to say, "No! Who the hell uses a schedule in the summer?? What high school kid in their right mind, would follow a schedule in the summer?" And the schedule I was supposed to be making, he hijacked half of it. He made my wake up time be at 9:30. ...It's summer for crying out loud...

Ironically, that class that I thought would ruin my summer, did ruin my summer, but it did it by being canceled....
