    ...so you can blame me for doing it wrong somewhere? :D No, make an animated avatar from scratch (not literally, but with your own recording settings, etc.) and we'll compare our results.

    Can we get more lines of text in a signature? IMO it doesn't make much sense to have a max of 6 lines if there's about twice as much space size-wise.

    I second this motion and would like to see more character space or better yet the end of a character limit since each character is only one byte, and; thus insignificant next to picture sigs

    The video capture part isn't the problem for me.

    For me the problem is that all the software I have seen that can convert avi.s either is outrageously expensive or watermarks the image

    Then why did you say you don't have anything to capture with? :D

    Use any software you want. Watermarks shouldn't be a problem, you just need to record and convert a larger area and crop the gif file to get rid of it.

    I'm looking forward to the result.
