A marauder does 24 damage a hit vs an armored unit, so that's about 72 damage (since we don't know how many upgrades either side had). That's nowhere near enough to kill a colossus at full health, so... was said colossus at full health? I think not.

As far as I could tell it hadnt taken any damage, it may have sustained some during an encounter with some marines a few seconds before it ran into a marauder. But there was a second Colosus with it and it took most of the damage.

But as I said it's probably just me. Just seems that the units go down allot faster than in SC1.

I have a quick question.

I was playing 1v1 ladder yesterday and my opponet was LiquidTLO, i know he is a well known player but with all the recent beta changes and name/character identifyers is it possible that I was playing a fake, even though throughout the game he said he was the real TLO?

I checked his ladder and match history after the game and it really didnt say much, only 15 games played or so and mostly custom. Any ideas? I'd love to upload the game also but dont know how. help with that would be appreciated also.

 

The new Bnet system has name code things, 3 digit numbers associated with your name. So yes, it is almost certainly a fake unless you are winning all of your games.
