Starting WoW?

Actually, warlocks are one of the weaker classes in PvP. They just have nice lore. And fancy demons.

 

Did they nerf them for PvP in 4.0.1? Cause in my 3.3.5 server, I'm pretty decent in Affliction spec.

 

Affli is still good for pvp, but any warlock not specced for PvP gets owned by pretty much every other class not specced for PvP (with the exception of healing specs). Even with affli, they can't begin to take on a rogue, DK or pally. On the other hand, the latter is just kinda OP.

Or maybe I'm just bad at playing locks.

 

Na, I'm pretty sure Retri's and Combats are specifically designed to kill squishies. I last literally seconds against a Retri who knows what he's doing. Rogues, it's a tossup since I have Every Man For Himself (Humans ftw).

DK's were always interesting. Can't wait to see how they play in 4.0.1 with that dedicated tank tree.

 

Assasination Rogues got a nice new teleport in 4.0.1. Now they can actually sneak up on you without stealth. And they appear behind you. Good luck getting a spell off.

Voidwalker shield to absorb damage, PvP trink to escape Cheap Shot, Death Coil to buy some room, DoT, Fear, nuke.

 

logging in, so far i really like my warlock; it's a fun class

 

Affliction warlocks got nerfed into the ground, to be honest. It really is no good for pvp at this moment. Either demonology or destruction are the only viable options. Ah well, I mostly pvp on an unholy death knight anyway.
