I hate those.  The trick to dodging them is to put the roll thrusters in mode 3 at +20 degrees and the yaw thrusters in mode 5 at -5 degrees and do a hard roll and full power -z manuver while boosting dorsal shielding

 

but that leeves your entire underhull unprotected

 

I consider 5 megaton missiles to be more dangerous than whatever else the enemy ca throw at me. Besides the lower hull of my ship has been reinforced in case of a rough landing.

The fire control computers are linked to a pairr of C5s for precision targeting. I found its cheaper to use lower fidelity sensors on the lateral scan zones.

When the ship relly shines is the engines. Fusion powered with Ion turboinjectors nd core mounted spin APUs linked to plasma afterburners Those Songnam APUs are a dream. If I need more thrust the APUs can even boost thrust.

Speaking of that I need to replace one of those. I had an engine blow out. Part #XW-1124s
