The "How was you day folks ?" thread

Today I haven't worked. So I am most of the time in front of my computer. I just helped my mother to prepare some biscuits she prepared herself. Some "sablées". Delicious ! Eat them with a cup coffie.

Too bad that you can't smell the odor of those biscuits. I still smell the hot odor entering my bedroom.

I had a nice family dinner with some special wine, and it was delicious.

 

Yep it was a traditional family dinner here, with no accidents this year thankfully.

 

I was away from my computer 2 days ago already.
I set windows 7 up yesterday. The 64 bits Ultimate edition. I have now 8 GO RAM, and a powerful graphic card.
I can already play Starcraft 2 !


About my job. Today was a bad day again !! >:-|

I took a woman. She had to go to Antwerp. A trip to there is about €100,00. She just talked flemish (Dutch). I talked flemish with her. She talked fast, too fast that I didn't understand half of what she said. She had no luggage, we went together to Antwerp. Once arrived, the taximeter displayed €98,50. She gave me €50,00.

"where's the rest ?" asked I
"you accepted when I asked you to go there for 50" she answered.

OMG ! She's right !! I indeed accepted. Because I hadn't well understood what she said.

WHAT TO DO IN THAT CASE OF SITUATION ? The customer is not guilty to have given false or bad informations. I was guilty to have not done my job well.
She gave me 50,00. The company wants 98,50. The difference is for me. I have to pay €48,50 !
I didn't want to pay, even if I made the mistake !

So I found a solution I just went to the police station, I said to the officer that there was a malentendu between the woman and myself, I told him the truth. So he gave me an official paper about this malentendu so that now that I gave this paper to the company I am protected. There was a mistake and I will not have to pay back my mistake.

 

Well at least this one turned out in your favor sorta, unlike the last couple of weeks for you.

 

Yes, but if I wasn't gone to the police I would have paid everything. I lose time to protect myself or I lose a lot !

 

Got another accident with my taxi today !!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I'm in my rights.

I was at the airport, I loaded for a very stupid trip. I was angry !
I drove fast to the garage to finish my service. I had to give my taxi back to allow another taxidriver to take it at my place. On the road to the garage, which I take every day I was reaching a crossroad. There were two lanes which turned to the left, so to the same direction. There were 2 cars on the same lane on the left side, and I was coming to the empty right lane. Then, suddenly, the second car on the left lane moved, changed the lane and entered my right lane, without seeing me, without using the right galshing lights .... and .... BOOM ! He hit my taxi ! The left door, the left front wing, a bit of the front bumper are hit, but the exterior left mirror is totally broken.

I had no finding with me so I asked to the dispatch to allow another taxi to bring me one. And I asked for helps. At a moment the dispatcher became angry. He said "I WILL KILL YOU !!! " but in a maner to say that ha was angry with me. He was angry because I had no paper with me and that he was about to finish his service too, and that I come with an accident. That could happen to anybody ...
The guy who made the accident with me had no time to lose cause he had to deliver medicines to a hospital. So I decided to follow him Once at the destination he made his job and he went with me to the garage. There we completed the insurance papers.

 

Seriously soge, did you piss off a demon or something, this just isn't natural.

That's what people around me asked me too. ..... Do you know a good exorcist for me ? He will prevent me from making other accidents with my taxi. I will profit to ask him to give me the best trips too.

 

Unfortuantly, you would need a stronger priest then what we have down here. I would reccomend talking to the Vatican or bathing yourself in salt while praying like hell.

my day was fine i eat brakefast then take a shower and do my school take a breake for lunch then get back to school then i am finshed and then i play counter strike source (third person shooter) then have dinner and go back to bed thats about it exepct through out my day i notice how my freedom and others freedom is being taken away by obama sry obama lovers but he is a socialist just like litlar and we don't want another guy like hitlar becouse he A : was crismatic like obama B : was a complete idoit like obama and C : didn't really have a good grasp on reality anways my day was fine i enjoyed the freedom i have today but maybe i won't have that freedom tommorow so i encouare all of you to help me in the fight aginst wrong, evil, and idoitcy say no to obama health care

Well, come back to the forum .... How was my day today.
Woke up late, went late to the garage to take my taxi But had a normal day.

 

Well at least you didn't have another accident. I've got to say if i was your employer, i would be looking at you as bad luck and a money sink hole.

 

Don't worry for my employer. He is insane. Indeed he is a big crook on the insurance. May he get an accident in right or in wrong he pays the same fixed price. But he gains a lot anyway.

The last 2 accidents I made were in my right. People provoked those, and not me. So I will not be pointed by the boss's finger. Huh ! I even entered his office to explain the situations of the last accident. I got some pictures on my mobile phone (first reflex to do when you make an accident). This stupid accident (again) was evitable. But the stupid guy who hit my taxi "hadn't seen me coming" as he said. In fact there were 3 looooong seconds that I used my horn to warn him of my presence, but he didn't care. Never mind for him !
